Dr. Dan and the entire team have been nothing but phenomenal with every step of my treatment. I had to have a tooth extracted, a bone graft done and an implant put in. It has been virtually painless! He is incredibly relatable, has a kind and calm demeanor, so thankful I found a dentist who I feel completely comfortable with. I’ve never had a flipper before, he was completely understanding and showed me how to pop it in and take it out, had me do it in my own to make sure I was comfortable doing so and made sure the fit was perfect.

This place is absolutely fantastic, highly recommend going here, thank you Dr. Dan and everyone else at Birch Street Dental. You’ve been incredibly accommodating and kind.

It’s been years since I have loved my smile. Thanks to Dr. Soenen and his lovely assistant Nikky, I can finally smile with confidence. He filled my front two teeth, matched the shade with ease and took his time to make sure it was perfect. Will ALWAYS recommend this office, thank ya’ll from the bottom of my heart!

Dr. Soenen is a good guy! Nice, funny, and an all around cool guy. He extracted a large molar for me and educated me on why that tooth was a prime candidate to be broken etc. I’ve never been to a dentist like him. As far as care….he’s top notch and doesn’t hesitate to tell you he doesn’t want you to be in any pain and a day after I’m not. What a class act!

Dr. Dan Soenen is a wonderful dentist and person. He understands the need to build trust and respect. His years of experience make him one of the most talented dentists I have ever met and he continues to add to his education and training.

I am so thankful for the flyer I received in Gaylord apprising me of Birch Street Dental in Kalkaska. I have been searching for a dentist that has the expertise to restore my implants and partial. It has been a very depressing journey.

Dr. Soenen is an awesome human! He's so compassionate, and does anything he can to make you more comfortable. I have incredibly bad anxiety when it comes to dentists/dentist offices, and he helped me by prescribing me an anti-anxiety medicine to take before I came in. Also, he does IV sedation, which was a Godsend in my case. He stands by his work, and treats you like a friend. 💜

I accompanied a relative to her appointment, and Dr.Soenen was wonderful! He was compassionate and understanding about her dental anxiety, and was professional yet personal and warm. His assistant, Emily, was lovely as well. They listened to my relative's concerns and what she needed to help relieve her anxiety, and they were so accommodating (she asked that they tell her/explain what they were doing as they did it). Such kindness from a dental office is nearly unheard of. I highly recommend considering Dr.Soenen!

Dr Soenen and his staff were very knowledgeable and kind. They worked together as an efficient and effective team. I was given wonderful explanations of procedures being performed.
Everyone seemed to enjoy their jobs and stepped over backwards to make sure I had the care needed. I gladly and sincerely recommend Birch street dental.

Dr Soenen and crew were great! It's been years since I've had any dental work done and they helped me get back on track. They happened to have openings that afternoon to get a couple of cavities taken care of right away. It wasn't painful at all, shots were placed right, and they explained everything BEFORE they started each step of the process. Very comfortable experience and eased my anxiety a out past dentist work, 10 outta 10. Keep up the solid work guys!

I felt so at ease with Dr Dan he assured me everything will be fine. I'm not near as nervous as I was before meeting him... and nycole is also an amazing assistant.

I had a crown break on a very new implant. I called 21 dentists trying to find help! Not only did I find expert care, the folks at Birch Street are terrific, and Dr Soenen is a true artist!

I have been a patient at Birch St Dental for over 13 years. Dr. Soenen is the best! Even though I hadn't seen Dr. Soenen in person in a few years, you would have thought we were old friends. He is personable, efficient and just a joy to interact with. 5 stars all the way!

It was the best dentist appointment I’ve ever been to he did excellent patient service and was extremely professional and great patient aftercare! I was scared to death and he made it a very easy to go through the procedure without any problem. I highly recommend him to anyone that has fears or any other bad experiences for any dental work done. Great doctor and wonderful staff

Awesome staff!! Dr. Dan is amazing. They all made my entire experience of getting implants pretty seamless. He, as well as the entire staff, work diligently in making sure every step of the process is explained and make sure patient comfort comes first. Kudos to the entire team.

Everyone there is super friendly and always seem so happy. They explain everything they're about to do and do the best so make sure your not in pain. Dr. Soenen is hands down the best dentist. I had a broken tooth and when some may have chalked it up as a loss and pulled it, he fixed it and saved it! Thanks for the great service!

Excellent care. Very careful, courteous, and concern for comfort of patient. By far the very best visit to a dentist I have ever had, and been around the dental chair a few times. I'm 67 yrs young. Dr Dan Soenen and his staff is the best. Where is the 10 stars. They definitely earned them.
