Recently updated. 1000% Improvement!!!!
New beds, carpeting, furniture and fixtures.
I've stayed here many times in the past and always dreaded it. But it was my company's choice and they pay the bill.
Now I will look forward to staying here again. Mindy the Manager has done wonders for this place. The lobby and breakfast area are also very nice. And they've added an outdoor patio/ smoking area. Great job y'all !!

Management is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very clean and the prices are reasonable. I will definitely be visiting again.

The service was extremely great. The room was clean and the service was excellent. This is the only place I would go to. The manager Miss Windy was so helpful and made you feel like family. I will tell everyone that is coming up here to go to this motel. As the rate was great, best around this area. I will be back soon.💯

I truly enjoyed my stay. The young lady at the desk was very respectful, and kind. Morgan truly made us feel welcome from the time we walked in. The rooms were very clean and very fair priced. We will definitely be back again.

Not sure what this hotel has been like before but I had a great experience. The checking in was easy and front desk was friendly and fast. The room is very clean and comfortable. Would stay again for sure.

Very nice since new staff took over. I have stayed there a few times and the last time I stayed they had new management and the stay was a lot lot lot better. There was a mistake made on my charges and the lady working the counter was a pleasure to work with and she was able to figure out what the issue was and she took care of the problem. The problem was not even there fault the company I used to get the reservation had charged me for more days than they were supposed to because I had points I used for free days. She and the hotel actually ate the difference to make it correct. No continental breakfast but no big deal because lots of restaurants in the area and a lot of hotels reflect the continental breakfast in there price and normally its not worth it anyway. Rooms were very clean,friendly staff. Definitely will stay there again now that they have new management. This was about a year and a half ago that we stayed there,just had seen advertisements for there hotel and thought it would be nice to leave some good words about them because I was very impressed with our last stay.

Oct. 2022 we spent the night and had excellent service. We got locked out of our truck and the staff was very helpful and patient with us. They called for service for us and assisted us in our time of waiting for someone to unlock our truck.

This is the type of older motel that I always like to find. It's very clean, comfortable, and friendly at a good price. I like the nostalgia of being in a well maintained inn of yesteryear. In my experience the Rodeway brand has a bad connotation. If you have the same opinion then I think you'll find that this one is not like many of the others. There's plenty of open parking for RV and trailer alike

We got the last room available. Price was great. The owner and his wife are fantastic and incredibly hospitable. We will always stay here when we are in the area. Room was clean and comfy, parking lot well lit. Can't wait for our next adventure!

Staff is SUPER friendly. We came and stayed in a room as soon as they opened back up after COVID-19. Rooms were very clean and neat. For the price you pay — it’s well worth the stay!! 11/10 :)

Our stay was very comfortable. Staff was friendly and polite. Staff were wearing masks and were also available for guests, which made us feel safe. Breakfast was offered and adhered to covid awareness. Muffins were pre-wrapped and juice and water were in individual bottles. I completely recommend staying here. It’s in a great location, not far from Traverse City and just an hour away from beautiful Petoskey!

Great place and great service. Rooms are spacious and clean and front desk attendant was super friendly. She even gave us local fudge.

My husband and I stayed here on Friday. We had a reservation at a local resort and canceled it after being treated so rudely. We then went to Rodeway Inn and had the best experience ever. Shonna at the front desk went above and beyond to make our check in experience fantastic. By time we had our room keys we were laughing and feeling so much better. She then took it further by bringing us an extra blanket and more towels. We travel to Kalkaska at least twice a month and as long as Shonna is behind the desk to greet us we will always stay here.

Loved my stay here!! Really nice staff members and they had breakfast! A lot of places dont offer breakfast due to covid so was happy to stay somewheres that did!! And unlimited coffee!!

Me and my team stay here every year for a race we do in the area and it's been great every time, they even made accommodations for breakfast for us because we have to get up really early.

Because a gentleman named Lewis went above and beyond to accommodate me and my dog! Very nice gentleman who pays attention to detail along with other excellent customer service skills. I look forward to my next trip up. Thank you, Lewis!

Nice hotel. Clean rooms and friendly staff. Beds and pillows are very comfortable. Great water pressure and water stays hot.

The hotel itself is pretty generic. But the staff there are awesome! Very helpful. I'd stay there again and recommend to friends.
