Red Olive Restaurant - Ferndale

This is the second time I have ordered from this location. They have the absolute best salads in the area hands down. I love that they use fresh greens as opposed to ice berg or romaine like most places.

I ordered the Michigan Blue Salad with Grilled chicken. I also love that while the chicken is fresh and juicy, that it is warm as opposed to placing a hot piece of chicken on a fresh cold salad. The chicken breast was perfectly seasoned and the portion size is larger than I had expected. The raspberry dressing just adds to the burst of flavor this salad offers. Excellent food and I will be sure to order again soon. Thank you for a job well done.

The service is the best here! I read a review by Gigi is not true! The service is great and the food is good! Because I like their food somuch the manager gave me a $10 gift card. The waitress Chelsey and hostess Moncia was great friendly and nice!!! Gigi is rude geto, dumb and low IQ Hood rat!!!

I always appreciate the many options at Red Olive. No matter what you're in the mood for, they have something on the menu for you! Service is always friendly, and prices are good for the portion size.

Great breakfast 🥞 . Quiet quick service, Hot coffee, very nice atmosphere

We were 15 of us to have brunch at Red Olive. There are a ton of options to order. If you are in mood of brunch, breakfast, dinner etc you have 5 pages menu to choose from. I ordered shrimp in a basket which included 21 small shrimp with cocktail sauce and choice of salad for 9.49 which was a fair price. I liked the friendly staff.

My family and I ate there while we made plans through a difficult time. We love the food there and eat there frequently. The waitress, concerned for us, took extra special care of us, along with her boss. We had angels taking care of us today. We also had a very delicious meal. Thank you from my family to you and yours.

As always, great service and tasty food! Their veggie omelette and gyro are fantastic!

This is an elevated version of the great American diner. The decor is modern clean and beautiful. The food is great – – I ordered a mushroom Swiss burger and fries and everything was hot and delicious, made with fresh ingredients. I enjoyed the free refills of lemonade that my waiter kept bringing; it is the appropriate beverage for today, as it is 96° outside as I write this! The central air in this place was nice and cold. If you stop in like I did on a Saturday between 4-5 pm it’s not busy at all after the breakfast rush but before dinner. They specialize in breakfast items, Greek and Mediterranean dishes, and of course burgers, soups, salads and American classics. The service was great, the parking is always free, and as usual I found everything here to be excellent.

My favorite Red Olive location! The manager is awesome. The staff is helpful and friendly. The food is always top notch and the perfect proportions. I always feel welcome and at home here. That's partly Ferndale vibes too.

Went here with family recently and it was great. Laid back, good food, good service, that's a win in my book. And, I probably shouldn't say it, but the dark haired server with the glasses is beautiful. Probably go back soon ☺

I work in Ferndale, so I dine at this establishment at least 3 to 4 times a week. My favorite waitress in Cathy, she is such a sweet lady with a pleasant attitude. I dine in quite a lot by myself, and I'm comfortable in doing so. The food is excellent always hot and fresh. Keep up the great work. The owner is very handsome as well as on top of everything that's going on.

My mom likes to come here, so when we go we really enjoy the food and the decor. I love the fish and chips and ceasar salad.

Love me some Red Olive. Good take out or dine in food. I love the salads and typically get the Pete's chopped probably every other week (my fave). Really like the corned beef hash and the gyros too. Solid service and food.

I love this restaurant! The wait staff are very attentive, but not overbearing. The restaurant is lovely inside and very clean. Food is presented beautifully. Great family atmosphere. The manager Tony always comes over to check and make sure the customer has had a good experience. I am going for my birthday tomorrow!

Love eating here.... (smile)... always freshly prepared food and nicely presented. It was my first visit and I am pleased with the variety and taste of everything we ordered. Server was attentive but not overbearing. If you’ve never been here I believe you should try it!
