They handled all the arrangements for my Dad when he passed away in 2019, and for my Mom who just passed away. They are professional and compassionate. No detail is too small. This is the second time in the past three years we had to use This funeral home in the past three years. Thirty years ago we buried our father using this same place. In each case, the individuals involved have been courteous, thoughtful, efficient, and professional. The last two times I dealt mainly with with Nibras. However, I need to also recognize Tony, and Veronica who were also very helpful. Collectively, each of them helped to coordinate everything from the service, to the burial, to the luncheon, to the death certificate was handled. Most importantly, the care and effort that was taken to preserve the the natural beauty of my mom was AMAZING! This funeral home always takes the extra steps to make sure everything is done correctly and to the satisfaction of the surviving family. When my DAD, SHAMASHA (DEACON) Farouk Dawood Samona passed June 21, 2023 I was truly lost and besides myself.

I myself have attended countless funerals unfortunately and have seen grief hit hard. Losing a parent is something that just stunned me and I wasn’t prepared for. Frankly I don’t think I would ever be prepared for something like that.

Nibras and Tony went above and beyond the call. It didn’t stop with them, the entire staff at Southfield Funeral Home provided customer service so great, so beautiful, so amazing that not once did it feel like a “business transaction.”

I can’t thank them enough from the planning and afterwards. They truly helped my family and I more than we can ever imagine and frankly more than we can ever THANK them for.

This hit us all hard as the entire staff knew my DAD personally. This was and continues to be difficult on everyone.

Veronica was so helpful! We had the best experience for the memorial service for my Dad today. Her and the staff were so helpful; they hung up my picture boards for me and she wouldn’t let any guests go in until I went in to have a moment with my Dad which is so respectful. She made this very difficult time in my life easier. Highly recommend.

Anthony took his time to go over our options as he walked us through the process and coordinated everything for the day of for our grandmothers funeral. Tony & Nibras were more than helpful & accommodating to our needs. They helped us plan our father’s funeral in less than 2 days! They worked fast, worked around our free time and were very understanding to our situation and helped us and walked us through the process and took care of all the details. We went through this funeral home for when my brother & mom passed away. Tony and his team took extra and great care of everything for us, they went above and beyond both times in this was years in between. We didn’t have any added stress or worry, as sad as it’s been every time we left feeling better each time knowing our loved ones are in great hands and are being laid to rest. They were fast, efficient and worked around our schedule. We are very thankful for everything.

Although we have experienced so much loss in the past few weeks, the process of the funeral has been amazing. Veronica was so attentive and sensitive to all of our needs. She went above and beyond the call of duty. This definitely did not go unnoticed and was much appreciated.
Hopefully, I won’t need their services anytime in the near future, but unfortunately life doesn’t work that way. So, when we do, we would use them again (and again).

We had a loss in the family and went through Southfield funeral home. They were able to help us through the entire process without trying to overwhelm us which was greatly appreciated it. Even a couple months after we needed copies of documents which we were not sure how to get they help get those copies for us.
