A lovely little cafe. It's like the hallmark movie hole in the wall coffee shops. Very diverse and everyone is welcome. Good menu and they even can add boba to your coffee! Many flavors to choose from. Seating is available indoors and a small patio seating area is right in front.

Amazing choices. You won't be bored with flavor selections. I had mine in a mug for a change. Order to perfection. Great stop if you're in the area.

The vibration is very authentic. Great place to work or host a small meeting. Got coffee, bagels for my team, and a pastry for myself 😊

Food was exceptional calming atmosphere , and I also loved staff was also exceptional and friendly also quick at preparing food and super nice 5 stars all around. I do recommend this place

I love this place! I’m visiting Detroit and I was made to feel so so welcome in this space. The vibe is super chill. The people are super warm. I genuinely felt they were interested in holding a conversation with me. They also knew the person in front of me’s order. The space and atmosphere outside is comforting and it is a good place to study. If you’re looking for your specific drink they can probably make it. They also have bubble tea. The tapioca wasn’t great, but maybe they weren’t fresh at the time! The coffee is good! Come and try this place!

Wonderful Cafe! I meet there twice a week to have coffee with friends. Coffee is great and the food is quite good as well.

This spot has lots of tables for people to spread out and study or mingle. The coffee is well made, and the sandwiches and pastries are delicious with lots of options. Not overpriced either - I got two big iced lattes, a panini and a croissant egg sandwich for $25. And the owners are so so so sweet and adorable. They really add to experience.

Java Hutt is my favorite coffee shop in Ferndale. They give you the largest coffee for the money, have a large variety of food and treats, and their coffee does not give me a belly ache and heartburn. A coffee shop was just opened a block from our house, and I’ll still choose Java Hutt every time. The staff is friendly and fast and they make me feel like a part of the community, opposed to just a nameless face.

My favorite coffee shop !!!! The owners are very kind and always go out of their way to treat me like family. They went out of their way to make my son and I happy, as they always do when we visit. The coffee and food are always delicious. A great experience !!!! Ferndale is lucky to have Java Hutt.

Came in about 10min before closing but was not rushed at all. Cozy atmosphere and very hospitable staff. She was so kind. We had the Japanese green tea and apple pie and enjoyed them on the couch

One of my favorite places to get a iced dirty Chai latte! The breakfast sandwich with turkey bacon is amazing! I wish the cups were a bit bigger for the price but still worth it. The atmosphere is cool, just have experienced some "privilaged" customers on a few occasions so I prefer to get my items to go.

This is my favorite coffee shop in Ferndale. I love their mochas (hot, iced or the cooler). The sandwiches are absolutely delicious and the services is really friendly and nice. Wish there were more small businesses like this.

Great coffee, great staff, nice atmosphere. I love coming here in the afternoons to work on my laptop—I've never not been able to find a seat somewhere. The baked goods are AMAZING, they're all homemade and delicious. I highly recommend the chocolate bun! 😋 Ferndale is lucky to have such a great place like this, definitely check it out.
