A real dive bar like you see in the movies.

They always have two pinball machines, that seem to be well maintained.

Drinks are strong and reasonably priced.

Restrooms are ok.

Service is fast.

It's been there forever, and you can raise a toast to the old owner who's picture still hangs on the wall.

Highly recommend.

I love this place it's one of the few local places where you won't get gouged for a simple drink .. The staff is great too... Tim waa the best ..best drink I've had at a bar in a long time

An old-time small-town bar in the middle of chaotic Ferndale. Pretty cool place to grab a beer before a show at The Magic Bag.

Good Team. Cheap drinks. Small and dingy. A fine place to remember the next day or not. Free popcorn.

I went to Dannys around 3:30pm after a haircut from Detroit Barber Co. In Ferndale. There were 3 old dudes sitting at the bar getting day drunk so I could tell instantly this was a friendly place t ok be. There was a $7 lunch special which came with either a burger or chicken sandwich and a lager for $2 so I got the burger with Bud Light. I also got a shot of Jameson and a bottle of Heineken. The burger was good. Just a regular no frills patty with lettuce tomato onion and pickles. Very good cutting of the veggies. They were the perfect size lol. Condiments came in individual packets. Total was $18 dollars. Good value for a quick lunch in my opinion. I would come here for lunch again if I wanted to have a drink midday.

Stopped in for the first time for a drink, and this place is just lovely. It's small and older, which I love! The bartender was great and the atmosphere was super chill.

Staff was NOT abrasive and the bathrooms smelled GREAT, Jimmy.

Janelle is the best bartender Detroit has to offer. It's almost like she was born for this. If Janelle wasn't here I would have not had near the experience I did. 20/10. If I could give someone a raise myself I would.

Danny’s pub is a great place to grab a beer or a drink with friends or after work. Staff is nice and always reliable.the atmosphere is cozy and invites you to stay for as long as you’d like, especially with its nice in close outside area that has heaters. It’s everything you could want from a space like this. Stop bye and see for yourself

On Wednesday January 12th I came into the bar and encountered the nicest bartender ever! I don’t know what Shawn Quinn was talking about her, she was excellent!

Danny’s was my favorite stop in Ferndale. It’s small, chill and has great prices! The bartender here was really cool to talk to and made us laugh a lot. I would definitely come back here!!

This place is classic old school..stay out of here if you are unfriendly or feel self important .because people here are real and friendly and cool...it's the best! Food is good too! Great prices! Good place to get drunk.

Great Irish bar without pretense. Free popcorn. Somehow classy and divey at the same time. Well maintained pinball games: Star Trek and Sopranos.... Now that I've been coming here at least 1x a week for the past 18 months, I should give the place another star. It's the only bar in Ferndale.

Favorite PUB. Excellent staff and the best Burger with Irish Guiness cheese and bacon (ask to add bacon). No frills, and just exactly what a pub should be. Jimmy, Crimi, Sean, Alexa, Janelle, Brooke and Danny himself will treat you right...the way you deserve and more. Love my bar.
