Stopped in to grab cases and screen protection for our new phones. While we are leaving the Verizon network, I was treated with kindness.

Will Usher was most impressive for the purchase of my Samsung phone & tablet. First impression was of Will's knowledge of the product. Full explanation of both was most helpful- as well as the discounts offered. His patience & persistence needed to transfer data & activate both made an easy and fast process. Will sets an example for the excellence of the entire store. A valuable asset for Russell cellular Verizon.

TJ was excellent! He helped me with an issue with my account and waited for 2 HOURS on hold with Verizon customer care to get my issues resolved. He didn’t have to and I appreciate it so much! He has helped me before and goes above and beyond to help customers! Luckily it wasn’t busy but while we were on hold he helped another gentleman resolve his issue as well! I appreciate him and say thank you again!

Store opened promptly at 10Am and Paige got right down to business outfitting me with a new phone. I was dreading this whole ordeal due to the transfer process and having things get lost but she made it a pleasant experience which helped make my day and answered all my concerns in a cheerful and professional manner. She knows her stuff!

It was a pleasure working with Kyle an TJ. They gave us lots of info and helped find the best deal for my boyfriends birthday gift. Thank you!

Ashley is amazing! She found me a great deal on a new phone. My old phone was completely dead, but she was able to retrieve my info and download into my new phone. It was quick...and easy on my pocketbook! Thank you Ashley for outstanding customer service!

Matthew was super friendly and easy to work with! I enjoyed his personal touch to the experience (making conversation, offering advice) that made it feel like we weren’t just another customer.

My boyfriend and I went in today to get some information on plans, as we were considering switching. Paige and Ashley were EXTREMELY helpful, as well as the guys (I’m sorry, I didn’t get their names).
Paige gave us all kinds of info about phones and our options, and then we went to think about it. We came back and decided we would do it. Ashley and Paige got us all signed up and set up with our new phones. Not only were they friendly and fun to be around, they each stayed half an hour past their scheduled shifts to make sure everything was done, and done correctly. My phone took a long time to transfer my stuff from the old one to the new one, so we were there for about 3 hours. But they made it a great time, and I would be happy to do my business there any day. Highly recommend!

Paige was great to work with she really went above and beyond to help my family switch from a consumer account to a business account and made switching to 3 new phones easy. We were with her for 5 hours trying to get all the bugs worked out and she did a great job.

Just got new phones from Verizon in Houghton Lake and are very pleased. TJay was a huge help to get us set up and very knowledgeable. My husband and I are happy with our new phones!

Ashley did a wonderful job of answering our questions and locating a new phone for same day purchase along with the needed accessories and set up service. Very pleasant and helpful. Highly recommended should one need a phone upgrade.

Went in to get a new phone, first time in this particular store. I just moved to town from Detroit area so... they had me in and out SO fast, and my new phone was set up perfectly, and with a better plan that I didn’t even know I could get. I found Ashley to be knowledgeable and very fun to talk to. I’m super happy!

I had a wonderful experience. The customer service rep I Houghton Lake helped show me how to turn ringer on the phone and how to connect to receive better WI-Fi. Also helped me to reset my password and sold me the correct car phone charger. Give the gal a raise. I have been to two other Verizon’s stores and she showed me more professionalism and courtesy then the other two stores combined

I would HIGHLY recommend Russell Celluar - Verizon Authorized Retailer in Houghton Lake, MI!! Everyone was so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable...in the store AND on the phone! Ashley helped me and my husband get new phones. We also added him to my Verizon plan - he needed the reliability of Verizon coverage. It was such a great experience! A special thanks to Ashley and Kyle.

My old phone died on me. They quickly got which phone I wanted and set it all up. Both people were super friendly and a pleasure to be around. Another customer came in after us and she was TERRIBLY rude to the young woman whom was only trying to help her. She handled herself quite well! The woman's own daughter was apologizing. Quick tip for customers, DONT BE A KAREN!

I have been looking for a new IPhone. I stopped in the Houghton Lake Verizon Store and Paige helped me thru the whole process. She made it truly painless. She had great advice and was able to help me use my $80 in Verizon UP Rewards. I highly recommend going there and purchasing your new phone, IPad, Apple Watch etc from them.

Matthew made our transition to a new phone and devices a breeze! He explained the benefits of our plan and helped us to recognize what we have been missing out on. Highly recommend doing business here!

Thank goodness you hired Scott!!!! Scott saved your store!! I switched carriers because of a woman who’s desk is to the right as you enter the store. She is rude and not helpful at all.

Moving forward- my fiancé just moved up from GA and he and I both will be back in to buy from Scott.
