Payless Car Rental

This rental car agency is apart of Avis. The shuttle from the airport was easy and there was no line when I got there (5p). The car was new (2023) and an upgrade from what I got online. The desk agent and return car agent were helpful.

The people at Payless Car Rental are very friendly, accommodating, and helpful. My rep was very knowledgeable. She explain things to me to make sure I understood. she made sure I got the car I wanted. She really took care of me. Payless is the best.

Service received at the Payless Car rental in DTW(Detroit,MI) was exceptional. Agent(Hassan) who registered us at the counter was very helpful and accomodating.Bus driver(bus #15) who picked us up at the return lane was likewise very helpful. I have been renting cars for the past 3-4 decades but service at Payless in DTW was exceptional as compared with my previous experiences with the other car rental companies. Thumbs up.

Payless rental car was the cheapest rental company that I could find for the location and length of time that I needed. The staff was friendly and efficient and the whole process was straightforward and easy. I returned the vehicle in the same condition that I received it & with a full tank of gas and after a swift check-in, I was on my way.

Great service. The rep that assisted me(cannot remember her name) was very efficient and effective! We chatted, she made the process very smooth and was very kind! Unfortunately customer service is not always good in the world we live in but she provided great customer service! Thank you

Had a very good experience with Payless at Detroit Airport! Lorene was very nice and wanted me to have the best vehicle for the impending snow storm that I was unaware of. She was a lifesaver!

Affordable, clean, and very professional. My first experience using them and not only were they affordable but they had a nice inventory!!!!! Had my rental for a week and after my deposit was returned, very satisfied with the total price! Had my own insurance as well so that saved me a grip as well 💯🥰👍🏾

Fast and easy. Didn’t care for the gerbal car. LOL Kia soul but overall pretty good. No idea WHERE to leave the car as there’s not lane with heading to drop off like other rental agencies.

My schedule was a little tight for my trip in Detroit and thankfully The pick up and drop off process was super smooth and confusion free with Payless. The front desk staff was also very friendly and helpful. The rate here is comparative low. Overall, I had a good experience with this car rental company.

I arrived at night. Not finding the car in contract, the gentleman upgraded my vehicle. He was helpful.

On drop-off, the lady was very pleasant. She finished everything quickly. I made it to the waiting shuttle. The driver was pleasant and helpful.

Great customer service, the young lady Makitta ( not sure if that’s the correct spelling ) that assisted me with the pick up was awesome. Very helpful and her customer service skills were a 10/10. Very smooth and fast pick up and drop off!

Rented from the DTW airport location. Shuttle was quick. Shuttle drivers were both courteous. Counter associate was polite and helpful. The line to pick up my car was short. The car was clean, smelled new. The return associate was fantastic. My bill was just as it should have been.

Super awesome experience renting while in Detroit on business. I got enough worried about being on a business trip, but car renting isn't one. Everybody was friendly and extremely helpful, car was great and I had / have no complaints!

I wish I could remember the name of kind lady that helped me check in and even assisted with my luggage. She was very upbeat,happy,kind…, I so appreciated her attitude and kindness. It was the morning of May 9th, unfortunately flying home - to see my ma for the last time. Thank you, my sweet person, for giving kindness,going above and beyond when I needed some kindness, much appreciated!

Great Experience clean car I was satisfied with my rental

First off, I got an unexpected upgrade on arriving. Your desk person was excellent. He was confident and knowledgeable, and very personable. The pickup process was simple and seamless. The SUV handled well and was great on gas. I had to return it before you all opened. You were paired with budget and they were there when I arrived and took the vehicle immediately and took care of everything! I called back upon landing back home in Dallas and all was well. I would definitely recommend you to anyone that asked! Thanks for a great experience!

I was supposed to rent at Budget and when I arrived at DTW there was a line of people so long you had to wait more than one hour twenty minutes to get to the Budget counter.
I went next door to Payless and the most helpful and kind lady, Payless representative, got me a car in 10 minutes.
Next time I know where to go!!!
My experience in Glasgow this Summer, with Budget was the same.
