This was my first time at yellowbird. Overall, it was a great experience. I ordered the house special affogato. Being that I’ve never had an affogato before, I had no point of reference. That being said, I thought it was quite good and I enjoyed it. I came here with three friends. I found it interesting that some of us were served with re-usable dishes and some with disposable. I am not sure for the reason why. I would prefer re-usable dishes for all of us since we were staying in, but perhaps there were not too many clean at the moment. Something I appreciated that made my time yellowbird distinct was the lack of music. Most coffee shops have moderate to loud music playing. I cannot recall being at one where they do not play music. Some may not appreciate this, but I like being able to just hear the chatter of others and not need music playing. Maybe I’ll be back here!

Coffee was very delicious! Super cozy on the inside with plenty of seating for meetups. They have a variety of milks available at no extra charge (whole, skim, oat, and almond) - thank you for that! The pastries appear to be made in house. I’d like to try a crossiant too next time.

Great experience! It was my first time at yellowbird coffee bar today and it was wonderful. I got the ham & cheese croissant (so yummy!) and a caramel oat milk latte. Both were really delicious and well made. This coffee shop has really wholesome ambiance and feels very cozy. I also appreciated that it wasn’t over priced like a lot of coffee shops are nowadays. For example, flavor shots are only 50 cents, all milk and milk alternatives are the same cost, which I absolutely appreciated so much! Really really great place and great experience. Just found my new favorite spot!

Great atmosphere. Truly a community centered aesthetic. There are some really good bird-themed coffee/non-coffee beverage combinations that are going to keep us coming back to try them all.

One of my favorite local places to go! We recently moved back to Saint Paul after being in the west suburbs for a couple years and Yellowbird is by far my favorite part of being back over here! Customer service is always great, creative drinks, cozy atmosphere, what more could you ask for in a local coffee shop? ☕

Cute little neighborhood coffee shop I found on Google a few days ago. I stopped in for a lavender honey oat milk latte and it was PERFECTION! The staff was super welcoming and the atmosphere was cozy and chill.

Amazingly delicious coffee and awesome staff! That place is very cozy and has a pretty good verify of food and coffee. John was super nice and knowledgeable. Not many places know how to get an espresso shot right, but theirs was delicious!

I love meeting with friends at yellowbird. I moved into the neighborhood in 2020, and I wasn't sure how much folks would welcome a casserole on the porch to say hello.

yellowbird is a lovely way to get to know neighbors in the city by meeting or happening to be around one another at a local, easy to access spot.

I love that they have local artists on the wall so we can see who is living, loving, and creating in our fair twin cities. ❤🌻🦄

Loved all the maps in this location, along with the logo. Breakfast burrito seemed like it was made this morning. Chai was a powder base which wasn’t my favorite but still alright!

We have a favorite coffee shop we love on week days, but they are closed on Sundays. We discovered Yellow Bird on Sundays when our "Cheers" is closed. The coffee is great, the staff are wonderful, they have a gkuten-free option, and we like the neighborhood atmosphere.

We really enjoyed the atmosphere and the community feels of the shop. It is a comfortable place to have a conversation and laugh and enjoy one of the many bird-themed concoctions they have on the menu. They all seemed intriguing, so we will definitely be going back to try them.

Great spot! Has several solid places to enjoy coffee or brunch and the food variety is awesome. All staff have been super nice as well.

Amazing cafe on Selby. I tried their specialty "Hamline" latte and it was phenomenal. Had a casual business meeting here and great atmosphere. Will definitely add it to my rotation of coffee shops in the Twin Cities

What a gem in St. Paul! Great staff, great coffee, welcoming vibe, and they make a tasty vanilla latte (not too sweet, just right)!

Why do I love Yellowbird so much? 1. The owner 2. The welcoming staff 3. The atmosphere - relaxed yet friendly. Patrons of all ages. You can find a quiet corner to yourself OR strike up an engaging convo with a neighborhood local if you choose. I just freaking love this place. Kinda has a "home away from home" feeling to it. 4. Oh yeah! the coffee is good too, haha. But I usually opt for the Evening in Missoula tea! 5. John (the owner) only uses the best milk avail too: Autumn Wood Farms & he uses actual full cream too, not dainty half and half. These are little details that are deal-makers for me. Thank you, John, for creating such a great spot for your neighbors!

Yellow bird is the perfect coffee shop for relaxing, studying or getting work done. Super friendly staff and delicious coffee! The food is delicious but the only knock I have is that the burritos are too salty. I think adding less meat would also help with the salt.

Super cute independent coffee shop. Outlets at basically every table (if not EVERY table). Street parking isn't too bad at all, and there's also a small lot. Feels like a ✨hidden gem✨ of a place

Cute coffee shop with quality beverages and nice seating area, has patio seating in the summer months. Reasonably priced for a local cafe.

Really good coffee and we had the breakfast burrito which was decent too. Love the atmosphere here.
