Good Korean restaurant with friendly owner and staff. Freshly homemade Korean food with fresh ingredients. For sure it’s not like you go to Korea or Koreatown but it’s a neighborhood restaurant with a very good Korean twist where the food is cooked with fresh ingredients. They don’t have a large menu but it’s a decent size menu for the neighborhood it’s located at. There is outside seating the the summer too. It’s located in a good part of town and their entire menu is worth trying.

We had the KFC sandwich, the kids bap, and the bap and chicken.

The Korean Fries Chicken sandwich was delicious with a flaky tempura batter. It has a little spicy Mayo on it, some lettuce and onions, and pickled radishes (Korean style) on the side.

The bap and chicken has a healthy portion of Korean fried chicken, kimchi, bok choy, mushrooms and an egg. It’s a prefect level of spicy with the gochijang sauce.

Our daughter has allergies and they were able to accommodate with the kids bap. The kids bap has fried chicken, rice, and steamed broccoli and sauce.

Overall it’s a great restaurant. The vibe is really upbeat with Korean pop music videos playing on a tv.

One cool thing is that they have an “adoption wall” where people who’ve been adopted can be honored.

I went here today because I'm a fan of kimchi and they make theirs! Plus i saw John on WCCO news and the dishes looked really tasty. I tried 2 different dishes and both were good.

So tasty! The pictures don't do the food justice. This is from their Korean Street Fare/State Fair menu. The breading on the corn dogs was delicious and the kimchi crema with the Uftda bap was amazing. I didn't eat the burger, but was told it was spicy and the kimchi with the burger was an awesome combination. I'd recommend any of these, along with what I've had from them in the past. Always delicious, and the staff is friendly and warm.

Everything was FIRE!! The chicken was super crunchy and the gochujang mixed with the dragon sauce was so so good! Pork belly bowl was outstanding. I didn't think I'd eat many of the potatoes but literally ended up eating almost all of them because they were so good mixed with everything in the bowl. Bulgogi bowl had brie in it which sounds weird but was crazy tasty, definitely coming back!! Thank you John!!

We loved everything we tried. Had the bulgogi bibimbap, Bap and Chicken bibimbap, drummies (there were 6 but our mouths beat the picture), and japchae dumplings. Can't wait to try more! I also appreciated the simple yet beautiful decor.

ZOMG 😍 If you love Korean food or are looking to try something new in the Twin Cities, I highly recommend Chicken and Bap! They just opened a few months ago in my neighborhood; my husband and I stumbled upon them via BiteSquad back in the summertime and have been hooked ever since!

They specialize in two main things: bibimbap (a traditional Korean rice dish with meat and vegetables) and Korean fried chicken, which is some of the best fried chicken you could ever hope to eat. It's juicy, flavorful, yet light and never feels greasy. CaB is a great substitute for the KFC places I used to eat at in NYC.

I personally love their namesake dish, Chicken and Bap bibimbap, which has a heaping serving of white rice, a medley of veggies, a over easy egg, and a juicy fried cutlet (white meat) with gochujang hot sauce on the side. It's so delicious, the only other things hubs and I have ever bothered to try are the drummies (super yum!), the side order kimchi (also delicious), and the kimchi fried rice (a little underwhelming but not bad).

We went to the storefront for the first time today and the decor was very modern, chic, and cheerful with K-Pop on constant rotation. I think we'll try to go in more; that have menu items (and booze!) that are not available via BS. They even have a build your own bibimbap option that I'll have to take advantage of sometime 😂

The service was very good irl and I'll definitely be going back soon for happy hour! They have Asian beer along with craft and domestic along with wine and champagne 🥂!

I'd say this place is great for a fun date or hanging out with friends. You can't go wrong with the great atmosphere and excellent food and service 👌🏾

The KFC sandwich was one of the better chicken sandwiches I've had in the twin cities. We also tried the chicken lunch special which was 3 chicken drumsticks in their dragon sauce, and we were pleasantly surprised there as well. Definitely a spot to come for the food, and stay for the kpop playing in the background.

Where do you go when Valentine's Day falls on a Tuesday? Bap and Chicken! Great food. Great Service. No pretense. I had the signature dish, Bap and Chicken. It was so delicious! My husband had the Bulgogi Bap. Also delish! We never had Bap before and the manager could tell. She saw us carefully eating the individual items in our bowl so she came over and explained that the point of Bap is to mix it all up. It was great and I appreciated the advice. She also recommended the sparkling sake. I don't like champagne but now I know that I like sparkling sake. Overall a fun date night.

Delicious fast casual style. Clean and hip feel. Entree ranges $10-15. There is also “build a bap” for customized entrees. They have wine, beer, and ice cream too. Food tastes fresh. Great addition to grand ave.

This place is amazing. Their house fermented kimchi? To die for. The bulgogi bibimbap? Made my month. The Japchae dumplings? So crunchy, so tasty. I am definitely coming here again!

The food was incredible! Ordered takeout for the first time in Super Bowl Sunday. Enjoyed KFC (Korean fried chicken), frickles (star of the show!), cheese curds, kimchi friend rice, and ice cream. Flavors, textures, and sauces were all incredible. We will definitely be back.

This food is amazing! It's tasty, hot and fresh. It's a bit on the spendy side, but well worth it for the quality ingredients. The servings are true portion sizes, so be sure to order extras to bulk up your order if you are super hungry or require a lot of food at a sitting.

I already dug in 🤣 it’s good! The steak is soft and melts in your mouth. There’s not too much rice but a ton of steak, kimchi, mushrooms and an egg. I also got a bean paste fish ice cream sand which sooo good

Crispy golden perfection. The sauce choices are out of this world. One of the best places for fried chicken that isn't a soul food restaurant.

We shared two menu items, pork belly and the Bap and Chicken, the kimchi's delicious, the Korean Fried Chicken crunchy outside and juicy on the inside, very tasty.

Great good, big portions (I had to the fried chicken bimbimbap bowl) and I could’ve made it two meals! Highly recommend this place for fast and authentic taste :)

We really had no idea what to expect of this super casual foodie haunt, but wow were we impressed. The fried chicken was crispy and juicy and complimented by a savory sauce that was to die for. I wish I still lived in the Twin Cities as I would visit here often. Highly recommended.
