Robert Trail Library

We love our local public library for being open every day, for offering all sorts of reading materials, even the latest books or novels. There is space for everyone including small children and helpful staff.

The open, bright, and welcoming Robert Trail Library is a jewel of the community. It's also a hub for the community - providing essential services such as the driver's license center, the library itself, meeting rooms, and a safe, warm place for the citizens of Rosemount to meet and hang out in.

The staff at the Robert Trail Library are always super friendly, and always willing to give book suggestions in addition to pointing me in the right direction for topics such as "books on traveling to warm places", etc.. The staff does seem to rotate to other Dakota Co libraries often, so many times they'll be new faces here, but they all all super helpful and friendly just the same.

The meeting rooms I have used several times for private meetings (reservations needed). There's a full option of DVD's for both children and adults. The many computers at the library offer fast internet. I do wish that the Robert Trail computers are someday updated like they updated the Wescott library with (the screen size at Wescott are much larger than at Robert Trail). But, these computers do the trick, and are rarely full of people.

What I love the most about Robert Trail library is the stunning architecture of the facility - it's beautiful - with tall, arching ceiling and the big community mosaic mural out in the entrance (I painted one of the little tiles!). The space is warm, inviting, bright, and with lots of natural light. The nooks to cozy up with a good book is also a plus.

Parking is ample, and the rest of Rosemount is walk-able from the central library location. Masks are still encouraged, but no longer required.

I am a regular visitor to Robert Trail library. Thanks to the wonderful Staff and connection to the entire Dakota County library system.

The Rosemount public library is the best for kids and families!! We love how it is separated a bit so the kids have a space to play and read without interrupting the adults reading and studying.

VOX books are a huge highlight for us and we always go to check out the new titles. There is also an awesome puppet theatre and stage where the kids love to play. We can stay here for hours!

This is the best library in Dakota county. I've been to them all. This one has the best kids section. The shelves are actually accessible for the kids to reach all the books. Where the other libraries have the books laid out in a better visual way, but smaller kids won't be able to reach all the books. 10/10, this library is awesome!

Use the large conference room there for meetings. Nice building, good parking. And the Dakota County DMV is there!

It's a very nice, smaller library. I like going there because it's usually quieter and it has a very light and bright interior, which is especially good during a long, cold, dark winter! Masks are optional.

Thank you for organizing the Yo-Yo Dazzling Dave event. It was fun! It is an entertaining show.

We love our local library! The staff is always helpful and friendly, amd parking is very close and convenient. Current changes for distancing and cleaning are non-disruptive and easy to follow. We miss the children's toys, but hope they come back when it is safe again. I also love the bank of windows lending lovely light to the entire eastern half of the library.

We have lived in Rosemount for several years and went here for the first time for my son's school project. The staff was extremely kind and helpful. There is a great selection of books, we will definitely be back.

Great place, good for kids and adults. They have mostly available office rooms which help a lot when you need privacy during meetings

You will probably find no better return for your tax dollars than a public library. Tons of books, movies, video games, programs (adult and children). Even if you just go to their website (after you get a library card) you can check out ebooks, streaming music and video, downloadable audiobooks, even programs to learn a language or how to program! New release movies are $1 per day, otherwise everything is free to check out.

My children and I love this library. From a 3D printer for my older kids to my favorite Story time for Babies class for my youngest, this library is a weekly stopping place for this family.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. This place even has a conference room and two person study rooms you can use for privacy

Everyone is very polite and the facilty is very well kept/orderly. It's the only library in the area I enjoy myself in!

Used their meeting room for a neighborhood HOA meeting. Nice and clean and lots room and technology available.

A beautifully maintained facility - It is simple to navigate and the staff are very helpful. It's quick/easy to pick up items ordered online.

I love going to the library and the staff at Robert Trail just make everything so much better. I go almost every day after school gets out.
