Taylor Sound and Video

This is bar none the best music studio and practice space in the Twin Cities metro area. Great rooms with good soundproofing, a guitar guy in house, a recording studio, a load in/out area, AND a video shooting room?!? How could you possibly do better than this? I've been to or rented at the other two major practice spaces in the area and they can't hold a candle to this place. If I could give it 6 stars I would. Also, Perry is a god amongst men. We've been renting a space for several months and it's been a great experience. The location is convenient, our room is nice and big without too much sound from other rooms seeping in, and the ability to drive cars in to load and unload for gigs inside the warehouse space is a huge benefit. In addition, the security is very good and the owner has been great to work with. Very easy to give five stars to Taylor Sound and Video.

This facility is fantastic. The rooms they have for rent are great for practicing and writing. The video room is a great addition as well if you need to shoot a promo or music video. Perry (the owner) is an outstanding guy and really knows his stuff. Can't recommend a better place to rehearse or shoot a video.

I've been rehearsing sporadically at Taylor Sound for years and always have a great experience. I won't go any where else. The owner is responsive and will accommodate my drum group, whether we have four people or 25. We've been able to create many beautiful songs there. The facility is CLEAN, and the artists around there are respectful of each other. Miles ahead of the other guys.

Our 'band' has been renting a room here weekly for rehearsals and we love it. Great space and so nice to have a good drum kit and PA system ready to go. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a place to practice.

I used this studio space to bring in a grammy award winning musician for a private event, and it was the absolute perfect set up. We had access to many of the rooms. The owner, Perry, was incredibly generous with his time and help in the process. I would use this space again, and highly recommend it.

Our band has been renting space for over a year now. We are using Taylor's band share space. It works really well. They've recently upgraded the drum kit and the PA in the space we use, so even better. As others have said very easy load in/out. I've also used Kenny Rardin for some guitar stuff and was very impressed with him as well. Thanks Perry!

I have leased a small rehearsal space here for over a year. It's convenient, well maintained, and Perry is very responsive and easy to work with. Great experience, secure location, first rate facility.

Really accommodating for need for a quick rehearsal, with plenty of space for the whole band, and good quality sound to prepare us for the gig. Very responsive management, and great availability. I’ll definitely be booking there again.

Great place to enhance your music creativity.
The feel of the place is awesome and staff is Very professional. It's the only place I'll rehearse at. With several different rooms to meet each and every artist style. Big ups to Perry for providing this facility for us....Thank you!!!

Great space for a band or artist to practice. Awesome live video room with green screen to leave to your imagination. And a quality studio with very competitive rates throughout the metro.

Amazing and true. Taylor Sound and video supplying musicians and videographer/photographers a really friendly environment to work in. My digital download card was produced by t.perry bowers the owner. We also shot video on the big room in back blue screen. Great studio space! Super comfortable and versatile.

I've known Perry since he had the space on 2nd and Lowery in Minneapolis and I always believed his philosophy of art needs a space to grow and to be communal in that respect. He has progress where many have stagnated or not even try to build on futures and keep thriving. Coming into this space I can see that the vision is still alive and attainable and his is a model to be built on as what the news about the Oakland fire has rattled hopes for creative spaces. This space has the hope needed to see that it can happen and should happen more and more. This model should be adopted and possibly some arts funding should be used to keep these clean, up to code, thriving spaces for art. I am happy to be in this spot with such security and safety that all bands should be soo lucky to have.

I enjoy coming to Taylor sound!! The lock out rooms are great! The guys down at Taylor sound are always helpful when I have concerns! Definitely my favorite spot to rehearse at.

Renting the shared studio for our band and the past month has been great and only getting better with the small ongoing renovations.
