Papa's Cafe

There's a daily special that's written on the board when first coming in. On the right when entering, there's 6 booths, a sitting bar area, 2 regular tables, and a booth behind those. Each table, be it in the booths or tables, has a different picture on the top of the table. Mainly pride for the military and local heroes, with small cards offering for local business owners to be able to have their business advertised on their table tops for 2 years(limited to amount of tables, of course). There is, when looking through the doors of the left, another area with tables for if the right side gets full. It has two large tables for groups, too.

I got a single slice of special batter French toast, it having cinnamon and sugar on it. I also got 2 sides of bacon(6 pieces). My Significant Other ordered the daily special of biscuits and gravy, with eggs and hash browns.

The service was fast for us, and it even looked a little busy.

His meal:
Spicy gravy is very good, having Italian sausage in it. Biscuit is fantastic. The egg is good, too. He added a little salt and ketchup on his Hash browns, but was good. He is from a southern state, so it is a high compliment if he finds it very good/fantastic.

My meal:
The French toast is delicious more because of the cinnamon. The syrup is a little thick, which is a nice change. The bacon is absolutely delicious, too. 😋 tasted like applewood smoked bacon.

They have homemade pies and cakes for dessert, and it shows to ask of the options.

Total came out as 35$ in total. Definite for going back.

Delicious food attentive staff clean atmosphere. I ordered Tennessee Whiskey Skillet medium well absolutely delicious. Jo was absolutely perfect as our waitress. Thanks Jo!!!

We love dining in or picking up from this place. It is so good! What sets it apart is that it tastes like it’s made with love from a family member in their kitchen. Our favorite place for breakfast. No matter what you choose on the menu, you can’t go wrong!

It’s a small place that offers wonderful service and tasty breakfast at great prices. Their pancakes and oatmeal with walnuts and bananas are the best! We love going here for breakfast. Staff is always attentive and friendly. They treat you like family, it’s a wonderful atmosphere. Coffee cup is never empty.

I live just a few blocks away and this place is absolutely one of my favorites. The servers are super super nice and friendly. The prices are almost ridiculously low. The food is always great, especially the breakfast items. My favorite is the turkey club omelette. It’s like an eggs Benedict omelette, and it’s perfect!! My parents love it, too, when they visit. It looks like just another diner, but there’s something special about this one. It isn’t trying to be anything it’s not and I love that.

Was great! If you want home style cooking. Come here. Family oriented just a great place to go to.

I have came here alot after appts!! I have only had dinner though ,love the meatloaf,and the Green pepper soup!! Today was my first time having breakfast here!! Absolutely Amazing!! My Daughter ordered the Special which was Biscuits and Gravy,fried potatoes and eggs!! I ordered The sampler,I had eggs,bacon,I didn't even have to ask for it to be cooked crispy cause it was perfect!! The fried Potatoes were Amazing, and the French toast was so delicious!! I asked for walnuts on my French toast ..yum!! So accomadating and very friendly!! Next time we are in the area we will definitely stop!

Great food!!! Fast friendly service. Clean. We had hot beef and Chicken Fried Steak. Perfect. Homemade potatoes!! Pick your table!!! They were neat.

Met friends for breakfast had no problems enjoyed good food and good conversations and the wait staff was wonderful and they happen to be from another restaurant well use to go to I will be back. Give them a try doubt you'll regret it.

This is one of my favorite "go to" breakfast spots. The food is always hot, good, and plentiful. This visit was the same.

The location itself can be challenging to find a parking spot if they're busy. Otherwise, the inside is nothing fancy. Just a wonderful place to get good (but not fancy) food.

They were closing at 9am due to new kitchen equipment being installed. I got there at 9:20 and when Laura found out I came down from St. cloud she squeezed me in with your basic sausage and eggs breakfast which was amazing as always! Laura rocks!

Very busy place, servers working very hard to keep tables turned over as quickly as possible. I tried the raspberry pancakes 🥞 today! They are awesome!!

Ordered breakfast, I’m always worried about take out quality. Some places send out dishes burnt, cold or thrown together without care. This is our first time eating here and the takeout was perfect! Food was hot, presented with care and most importantly DELICIOUS!!!! Our toddlers dug in and left empty plates, we all were very happy and full!! We found our new breakfast spot, we highly recommend. I can’t wait until we are able to enjoy eating in!
