Visited this fitness center while in town for the holidays. The atmosphere was great, the staff friendly, and the facilities was clean. There was a lot of equipment to choose from. I would highly recommend especially if you are looking for a gym as we are vastly approach the new year and you are looking to change your lifestyle for the better. Moved to the area recently and wanted a place to start turning a new leaf in terms of fitness. The gym has a small footprint buy has everything necessary to get a really good workout. It's clean and the staff is really friendly. Having personal training sessions has done a lot for helping me reach personal goals and pushing myself to attempt more difficult challenges.

As new owner-operator, Liz is present, visible, makes herself accessible, is very welcoming and member-centric. Her ideas and energy have transformed our entire family's fitness experiences, for which we're grateful. This place is AMAZING!!!! Not only is it one of the cleanest gyms I have ever been too (thank you Cheryl) but Joe is so GREAT. He always greets me (usually by name) but has showed me a lot of compassion during a rough time. I have been a faithful Snap Fitness gym member for many years and look forward to many more years. Thanks for being a wonderful GYM!

If you’re looking for a new gym in the area- you can stop looking now and join this Snap. This Snap is like no other in the Twin Cities and is unmatched in their professionalism, cleanliness, EQUIPMENT, and kind and respectful fellow gym goers! I recently moved out of the area and that is the only reason I stopped my membership, otherwise I would’ve happily continued here! I highly recommend this gym. My favorite thing about this location is that there is ample free weight equipment. Check it out!

This is the best and nicest SNAP fitness I have ever been too (and it's not even close)!! The owner, Jason, is great, super nice guy! Any time there is an equipment issue, it is fixed almost immediately. Also the cleanest gym I have ever been too. I love working out here. They have SO MUCH EQUIPMENT - much more than any other 'budget' gyms. Again, great gym, GREAT price (WAYYYYYYYYYY more affordable than LifeTime). They have nice, private shower rooms if you are crunched for time and need to go right from If you go to the gym and then go straight to work.

I've been to Snap fitness locations all over the country, and this is by far the nicest. It's got almost all the equipment of the bigger gyms (minus a couple odd pieces) and has all the essentials you'll find at a Lifetime, but with a pricepoint that is reasonable. Great for people who need cardio machines, free weights, and plates. All the basics are here. Also, the gym is outstandingly clean. I've been working out when I've seen the cleaning crew come through, and they are hardcore. Cleaning behind machines and in places where members probably never even pay attention. Great place. I hope they never close because I'm a member for life. The only bad thing is that going to this Snap location makes you realizes how crappy some of the other locations are.

As a person who just started working out, I was very impressed by this Snap fitness. I tried some of the big name gyms, such as Lifetime, and I found those places trash compared to this place. Although Snap doesn't have every piece of equipment you could imagine, it has enough for the average person. Best of all, and the thing that convinced me to give this 5/5 is the great costumer service. The manager was super nice, and she made me feel like I belonged in the gym, unlike the workers at Lifetime; acting like they don't care if you become a member or not. The gym itself was nice and clean with brand new, high tech equipment, and was nice and quiet. All in all, if you are the average person who wants a great work out and great costumer service, definitely check out this Snap fitness!

This review is kind of overdue, I meant to post it quite a while back so hopefully it's all still relevant haha I moved and no longer live in the area. Jason and his staff are great! This is the first Snap I had encountered that had bumper plates which was super important to me for the styles of training I do. The space is very clean. Never had any trouble space-wise (like overcrowding or availability of equipment). If you're looking for a space in the Maple Grove area you can get in and out and do your thing, this spot is perfect. Jason also owns the North Maple Grove location and it is also very nice.

I’m new to SNAP Fitness. Happy I joined. Like the location, easy access, members are respectful of socially distancing, and sanitize after they use exercise equipment. Jason, Owner, was friendly & helpful. I’d highly recommend this location.

I LOVE THIS GYM! New ownership a year ago and what a difference! The club has been remodeled with state of the art free weight area and top of the line equipment. Great atmosphere with excellent personal training options! Great rates and customer service! They have it all!

Outstanding new owner and an equally outstanding remodel. I was not expecting a 20 foot jungle gym rig with all the bells and whistles imaginable. Clean and kind. Definitely would highly recommend a visit. The perfect blend of big gym and small gym.

I used to not be a fan of 24 hour gyms. This one changed my mind. Great staff, great location, great atmosphere, and all the machines… always work. They also keep it well organized and clean. I look forward to coming here to work out throughout my week.

This gym has really turned around with the new owners. Clean, inviting, organized, helpful staff! It was looking a little sad and abandoned after the pandemic.

EDIT: Owner called me a day later and apologized for the mix up, he immediately offered to set up an appointment on the weekend at my earliest convenience the staff that answered the phone for me probably just didn't know they did actually do appointments after hours. Very nice guy who put in some effort to make things right.

Walked up to the door , came 5 minute after 5pm and no one was there. That's okay i was late. Sign on door says call the number to set up a weekend appointment. So i call the number on the door to set up an appointment, lady on the phone tells me they don't do weekend appointments. I tell her i'm literally reading whats on the door and she says yeah "they just don't do weekend appointments". How does a gym not allow people to sign up on friday afternoons and weekends? Of course the first review i see on here is someone complaining about the same thing. I'm sure the facility is great, but this initial process needs a great deal of work.

Really great staff, location is always clean. The other guys and gals have great gym etiquette, which is awesome. I highly recommend Snap and the Maple Grove South location.

Great facility with a plethora of equipment, free weight, racks and machines, they event have a trap bar. They have a great turfed area, perfect for everything from warming up to pushing sleds.

This is one of the best Snap facilities I've seen. Plus, the club owner, Jason Herdegen, was extremely helpful when I asked him to help me sign up for my health insurance's Fitness Discount program. I'd definitely recommend this place.

Such a great space! And so clean! It was great to have owner show me how to use all the machines properly! Highly recommend!
