Cute little trail and lake overlook, a great place to hang out where you wouldn’t expect it. You can hike over from Schafer park across the railroad tracks. Next time I will bring my paddle board.

Be careful. Tonight at about 9:30PM I had planned to park at the end of the cul-de-sac, then walk down to the nature area. There was one car idling and I got weird vibes. I decided not to get out and just leave—they tore after me and followed me for 20-30 minutes until I finally got to a busier area and shook them off. It seems like they were parked waiting for someone. It was a red car (maybe a Prius?...they were driving so bumper-to-bumper that I couldn’t see their license plate).
