I came in with a very small project. Chris (spelling?) was very patient with my questions and offered several solutions. The $0.80, yes eighty cent, fix worked perfectly.

Today (July 25th 2021) I found myself in a predicament. Long story short, I was in the parking lot of the hardware store but inside of another store and when I came out I seen my tire was flat. I spent 30 minutes calling around to try to find a tow truck, a mobile tire shop, or anyone to come and help me. Unfortunately everything was very expensive or would take hours to even come to my rescue. I was very stressed and felt all out of options but I thought of one more idea and that was to call Gopher Ace Hardware in the same parking lot. It was a long shot because I did not have a car Jack nor did I know if anyone would even be willing to help change my tire. But I called and asked anyhow and the guy on the phone told me unfortunately they did not have a tire jack so they could not help. BUT then a very sweet and special employee named Owen said he had one in his car and could come help! And he was out to me within 2 minutes. He brought his car Jack and other tools to help me. After trying for a minute or two he realized that his tools weren’t a fit for my car so he made multiple trips back and fourth from my car to the store to find the tools he needed. He definitely got all his steps in for the day. There were a few frustrating moments but Owen stayed positive and gave me reassurance. He had me back on the road again in less then 30 minutes. Without him I don’t know what I would have done, I’m so grateful he was willing to help. In the end I tried to pay him for his time and he even denied taking my money. He is definitely a hard worker and I’m lucky to have met him today. He’s definitely a keeper. And he’s cute *wink, wink*

I stopped in yesterday for a light bulb and some windshield washer fluid. The store is clean and bright and well-organized. I was greeted at the door by Derek and he led me right to what I needed. He then kindly offered to put the washer fluid in my car for me! On one of the coldest days of the year! This is truly a team that cares about their customers and takes their service to the next level. Thanks, Gopher Ace. I’ll be back!

My car was clean as a whistle and my wife was happy as punch. It was senior Tuesday and my car looked brand new. In and out in 15 minutes, even with a line. Great cards and snacks... All good; for you and your car... feel pampered.

Nice little hardware store. Had what I needed. In and out with ease. Something you might not know is they have a knife sharpening machine. Bring in you dull cutlery and shop a bit while they make them supper sharp again.

I went to the store this morning try to find a piece of hardware to fit for my front door. The store actually doesn't have what I wanted. But John who worked there went out his way to search for where I might find the item, and offered to help me alter the item to fit my door if I find it elsewhere and bring it back to his store. I did find it somewhere else and brought it back to Gopher, and John worked with tools in his store to cut and trim the item to fit what I need it to be, and without any charge even when I offered to pay. Such high level of willingness to help customer is totally above my expectations. And this kind of customer service is what brings smile and makes our life easier. Thank you John! The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. Not like the big box stores at all, except the prices.
Easy to get in and out fast, parking is just a few feet away from the front door, not at all like those busy crazy parking lots at depots. Once you shop at Gopher Ace Hardware, you will always return to the feeling of being welcomed with open arms to this warm community.

An A+ experience. I bought a Weber gas grill from Gopher Ace. They assembled at no charge, carefully loaded into my car in a way that ensured I would travel home without damaging the grill, and offered helpful insight on how to set it up and use it. They were also friendly and answered all my questions with knowledgable responses. You won't get this anywhere else. A complete and unconditional recommendation.

I bought a Weber q1200 grill over the phone from Gopher Ace Hardware in Minnetonka - Mary took the order and within a couple hours it was delivered to my home unboxed and ready to go! Inside the grill was a wonderful Ace Hardware towel and a couple days later a handwritten thank you note arrived in the mail. Such a joy to shop locally with such unbelievable customer service! 😊

First time in there and I will definitely keep coming back now that I know of them. Had exactly what I needed which was a bolt of a specific size and thread count for my truck.

We went in and asked for a plastic bin to be cut. They took it back almost immediately and did a perfect job! Employees were nice and helpful!
