K2 Bath & Kitchen

Our second great project done by K2 Bath & Kitchen! John and his teams did our kitchen and powder room last fall, just in time for Christmas. This involved completely gutting the kitchen and powder room, re-staining the hardwood floor, moving the microwave and wiring a new circuit for it, building a custom vent hood with a proper vent to the outside, a "feature" tile backsplash behind the stove, and dimmable LED under-cabinet lighting.

John has a good design eye and helped us with style choices in addition to triple-checking that everything we wanted would fit. They built a custom vent hood that was exactly what we wanted, and built a custom pantry and key-drop area for us.

Our project was more expensive than we initially planned, but K2 was very up-front and honest about the cost so we were only surprised at the start of the project, not at the end!

There were a couple of hiccups during the project and they went above and beyond to take care of it. We used K2 Bath & Kitchen for a master bathroom remodel and were extremely pleased with the result! Dustin Reece was extremely communicative for the progress and which subcontractors would be coming and going. He took all precautions to protect our home while moving supplies in and out. Would use him again for another project should one percolate through the weeds.

K2 was a true DREAM to work with! From our first meeting to our last, they were professional, always on time and easy to work with. They took my ideas from Pintrest and turned them into my dream bathroom. Not only did they come in right on budget (yeah to no hidden costs) but their team was fantastic to work with. They always showed up on time, cleaned up after themselves everyday and my 3 kids still talk about their friend Eli almost a year and half after the project was completed. I can't wait to use K2 again for my next home project.

The project took a little longer than expected, but we do live in a condo unit. Everyone was super nice. Got started very quickly and the quality of the work was fantastic!

Good: Site manager did generally communicate and respond well. Design process was good, BUT... Bad: Ten week estimated before work could start, actually was twelve weeks. 30 day estimated job length became 90 day actual on a very small bathroom. Work is all subcontracted and workmanship ranged from good to bad. See picture of custom cabinet installation. Did not inform me they were installing a different shower door than I ordered, then said there was nothing they could do about it.

Horrible location and such a small showroom however the service was very friendly and helpful
