Innsbruck Nature Center

Great exercise, awesome hiking trails, and lots of wildlife picture possibilities.

Quiet and peaceful

This was a very nice park with a lot of unpaved soft trails. So you wander around wherever you want to go and the underbrush is not too big. There is a small pond or stream located on the nature center. Unlike most nature centers, this one does not have a structure or building. The parking lot is rather small and unassuming, but it is usable. There's a wooden bridge and wooden steps that make it nice to walk around and grower.

Lovely place to walk. Accessibility is a bit of a challenge. I use a rolling walker and I was able to use the bark trails. Somewhat steep hills for a walker but doable. We got to the stairs and back from the West entrance at the parking lot. Lots of native plants, couple of small ponds where we saw wood ducks and mallards. Also read that they had done a big job eliminating non-native buckthorn and would need volunteers to keep it up. We saw a number of buckthorn seedlings and young small trees that needed pulling. For you local volunteers out there?! Quiet, peaceful. Nice place to visit from California

Very nice park in the center of the city / not great for strollers but great little hike with nothing but nature all around you

Some paths need clearing and a few signs were in need of repair. Did not look cared for.

Pretty trail through old growth woods. Trail steps could use a little fill/lift

A good place for a scramble but no bathrooms or trash cans means extra planning for little kids and some messes near benches.
