The Old Swedish Church

My husband and I hosted our groom's dinner/Friday event for 75 people here in August 2014. It was awesome. We were able to work with the owners to have the food we wanted through a food truck and a variety of microbrews. They were very accommodating. The building is gorgeous with stained glass windows, beautiful woodwork, and lots of different types of spaces -- big room for dancing/speeches/slide show, and two other rooms for food and more intimate conversations. There's also an outdoor patio on the side and grass in the front. We did have to end the event at 10 due to the neighborhood policies, but that was as late as most wanted to party anyway, and the rest of us walked less than 5 minutes to the bars downtown Stillwater. We'd rent again for another event in the future in a second.

My wife and I had our wedding reception here last August. Very cool space! We loved the vintage feel and the acoustics were great. We liked that they worked with us and didn’t limit our options for food & alcohol. It was also incredibly convenient to be so close to downtown Stillwater too.
