Gateway State Trail- Jamaca Ave Trailhead

I volunteer to do trail clean up on the Gateway. I am impressed how clean the users leave it. Very nice trail. It hooks up with Browns Creek so you can get to Stillwater around do the loop trail. Rude from St Paul to Stillwater.

Beautiful scenery the entire trail!!

Gateway Trail asphalt was plowed westbound from here. A few slushy spots but quite runnable all the way to North St Paul.

A very convenient place to start a hike or bicycle trip. Great shade this time of year.

You are suppose to have a regional park trail pass to ride/ walk here. The funds collected help pay for trail maintenance, debris removal and rest rooms and porta pots. Well worth the $

Great place to park to get on the Gateway State Trail. Between the 11th and 12th mile markers if headed north. Also close to the spur trail that goes to Stillwater.

Great bike trail. Maintained year round. Did scenery and smooth riding.

Parking is 10 steps from the trail. Very convenient.

A great place to park and hop on the gateway trail! Only a few parking spaces though.

Love this trail

This parking lot is a great way to hop on the browns state bike trail however it does come with a caution. There is a sign that says vehicle brakes are frequent.
