Horseshoe Café

Wonderful food and coffee! Teeny tiny place but very clean and the whole staff are all very friendly. We got the apple turnover, bacon breakfast sandwiches on milk bread, two drip coffees and a pound of Ethiopian coffee beans. All of it was really tasty, and I would wholeheartedly recommend this place. You get the feeling that a lot of customers are regulars, and since we are new to town, I think we will become regulars too!

This place was great! We stopped here for a quick bite and to try the coffee. Wow the food was awesome I got the chorizo egg sandwich and cup of coffee. Wow was the coffee awesome enough that I also got a bag.

Best coffee in the area! Today was my first time in. Food menu is great. Chorizo Egg sandwich was amazing. It definitely lives up to the other reviews. It has a great atmosphere, despite the small space and the staff is very friendly. I can’t wait to try the rest of the menu and bread..and a fresh bag of beans for home!

I've never felt so welcomed into a place that I've never been in before. The employees were all so nice, and seeing Nori talking to everybody by name really brought home that close-knit atmosphere that you get here. Just a super cozy place to be.

The milk bread was great, super delicious. The drip coffee was also really good, and the beans we took home smell phenomenal and I can't wait to brew them.

New favorite spot! Phenomenal cup of coffee paired with wonderful, homemade, sustainably-sourced baking!

Bread and coffee or tea. Sounds simple but it's extraordinary. Went last week for the first time, cannot stop thinking about it. Had toasted slices of levain with extra virgin olive oil drizzled over it and a coffee called Peru. Small place, about 8 tables.
Will go back regularly... Worth it!

Above and beyond, incredible local place which is worth a drive. It is an experience, delicious and fun to have a different daily menu. Very balanced coffee ❤

Finally had a chance to try Horseshoe Cafe and it did not disappoint! The breakfast sandwiches were amazing and my boyfriend and I loved the coffee and cider. The employees were friendly and welcoming and we had a lovely conversation with the owner. So glad we finally made it in and we are already dying to come back!

The coffee here is outstanding, and the owners are as sweet as the tasty pastries they serve. Highly recommended. Very excited to have them in town!

EDIT: five years after the initial review above, I’m here to say that The Horseshoe Cafe is still the champ. The coffee is still *outstanding* and the breakfast offerings are the same. I love them.

Very welcoming place; Best atmosphere; Best coffee; Best bread & sandwiches. They are the BEST in NH. I am just sad now they open only 3 days a week. I am out of state and I used to live here and this place was my routine breakfast. Now, I feel I just have to travel to NH to just get my breakfast there.

Horseshoe Cafe is a gem. They have the best coffee in NH and maybe the best breakfast sandwich I have ever had in my life. The baked goods are always great! I love the dark chocolate milk roll and the orange sourdough cinnamon roll.

Best coffee around! Great local spot! The staff all make a point to welcome you and introduce themselves and really get to know you! They put so much love into everything the do from their coffee to their homemade bread they use to make sandwiches. If you’re looking for a great local spot add this to your list!

Just visited the café for the first time and I'm instantly hooked. So many things to love about this place, first and foremost being the folks who work there. Super friendly and made a point to ask my name and get to know me while I waited for my order. It was a refreshing experience above and beyond the general politeness you tend to experience from most restaurant staff. Then there's the food. All I can say is WOW. I had the Spicy Egg sandwich and it was phenomenal! I immediately did a search for 'nduja, the spicy spreadable salami that takes this sandwich to another level, and will be stopping by Short Creek Farm to grab some of my own. They use local ingredients, roast their own coffee and bake their own bread. Highly recommend giving them a try. I'm confident you won't regret it! Can't wait to go back.

Honestly the best food an d coffee around!! They more than earn all the "Best Bread in NH' and "Best Coffee in NH" awards. The staff is friendly and the food is amazing. I have been going every weekend for years and it is the highlight of my day.

Fully deserving of every star. The service, the coffee, and the food are all fantastic. We just happened to stop by on a road trip and couldn’t stop talking about how glad we were that we’d stopped. Try the bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich with red pepper jelly or the onion chutney egg sandwich with goat cheese. We’ll definitely be back if we’re ever in the area.

The owners are awesome and know their coffee and bread and pastries. Had the avocado toast, it was so good.

Excellent coffee and great relaxed atmosphere! My husband and I make coming here our weekly treat. The food is delicious and the owners are friendly and clearly love what they do. 10/10 best breakfast/ coffee spot around!

My boyfriend and I have lived in Newmarket for over a year now and are embarrassed we haven’t been to Horseshoe Café until this morning. This place is such a gem, the staff is so nice, friendly and welcoming. Our breakfast sandwiches were the best we’ve ever had (you must get the jam) as was the coffee. Everything about our visit was exemplary and will be our new favorite spot!
