Tailgate Tavern

Stopped in for lunch. Greek Salad w/ Chicken was a special...had to have it. It was awesome! Healthy leafy greens rather than iceberg, true kalamata olives (pitted too), perfectly cooked chicken, and cherry tomatoes cut in half for easy forking. Delicious, will order again. Plenty of TVs in an inviting atmosphere. The bartender Alex was very friendly as well.

Been going here for years and it has always been a great spot that keeps getting better and better.
Had Sunday afternoon French onion soup which was top notch, perfectly made.
Then the Buffalo Mac and cheese with a fresh cold local tuckermans draft beer mac and cheese was insanely delicious.
The tavern never fails, great service, great local friendly crowd and food is always spot on.

First time having dinner at The Tailgate Tavern and it was a winner. Our server was friendly ,welcoming and knowledgeable and answered our questions about the menu. The restaurant was busy with a lively atmosphere. The food and drinks were very good. You should give this establishment a try , we’re glad we did and we’ll certainly be back again.

This pub was excellent!! Great menu with many local food options as well as traditional fair and a cool atmosphere. Very clean and well-lit. Our server was fast, friendly, and attentive, and the food was SO good! My son and I split an appetizer of hot pretzel bites with a mustard and horseradish sauce on the side - both were great. I had the baked haddock dinner with rice pilaf and seasoned mixed vegetables of broccoli, cauliflower, and carrots (pictured) that was amazing. Very fresh fish cooked perfectly with lemon and panko breadcrumbs - really tasty!! My son had a giant Reuben on marble rye with pub fries that he loved and we split a hot brownie sundae that was incredible. He had 2 local brews and I had 2 Irish coffees, so the bill was very reasonable when it came for all that we had. I definitely will go back the next time that I'm in the area, and I absolutely recommend this place when you're looking for a really great local bar.

I was there Saturday on the 13teen of April, with my wife and cousin , I got fish n chips, with No Cole slaw. It's was excellent, but I didn't get enough French fries I thought I would get more, waitress was excellent, will definitely come back, BUT we arnt from the area.

Came in for lunch and to watch college football. Cool bar and the food was very good. I got a chicken tender salad with a side of sweet potato fries (balance right) and everything was cooked perfectly. My husband got a burger and regular fries and really enjoyed that too. Overall it was great for a sports bar!

Awesome food, great service. Alix and Denea are awesome and VERY attentive. Above and beyond. First time here and will certainly come back.

We both had the garden salad with steak tips. The steak tips were a little tough but still flavorful. The dish was a deep bowl, and we both brought home leftovers.

Food was excellent. Huge rack of ribs. Service was average. Prices were slightly above average. New and clean, it had a large pub/ sports bar atmosphere without too much noise. Kind of hard to spot from road, in mall behind BK.

Great food, great service and great prices! I love going to Tailgate with friends for a beer or family for a yummy meal. It's very clean (including the bathroom), the environment is casual, not too dark and plenty of extra room. The bar is great. Buffalo chicken mac & cheese is delicious!

We were traveling through the area and decided to stop here and try Tailgate Tavern for the first time. We were greeted tight away and seats were available during dinner, though the bar was quite full. We each ordered a dinner plate and in a short time our food arrived. Staff was great and the food was hot, fresh and delicious! Definitely would like to try again if we are in the area.

Overall a great experience!! The food was delicious, the atmosphere was nice, the staff were fantastic and friendly! Plenty of parking and easy to get to! Highly recommend this place!

This place is amazing and the wait staff is the best . So willing to make your dining pleasure one of a kind . So definitely delicious and you must go and enjoy their daily specials. I love this place.

The best ribeye in Exeter, Nh! The service is fast. Great customer service and the best bartenders. Tina is amazing! I’ve been here since August on a work assignment at the hospital. And even the cooks know what you like and how you like it. I love this place. You won’t be disappointed. Plenty helpings. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Came in and ordered a Reuben To-Go, had it in less than 10 minutes.

Still hot when I got back home and man it was delicious!

Can't wait to go back to this restaurant, glad to see it open during the pandemic. Everything was sanitary and looked clean.

Staff is always friendly and accommodating. Consistently great good, we go for lunch, dinner, and when we don’t feel like cooking, takeout is always a home run in this house! Thank you for the pride and love you put into this outstanding eatery😁😁😁

Despite how busy it was the waitstaff was very attentive. The food came out quickly and was cooked perfectly. Overall very good meal and experience. Even had a rep from a brewery handing out samples of beer.
