I would go back for the chocolate blackout donut alone, but the dirty chai latte and chocolate loaf are also worth a second visit. Perfect spot for a rainy Saturday morning to warm up from the inside out before venturing back out to take on the rest of your weekend. Looking forward to going back and trying out the rest of the drink menu and baked goods.

Cozy coffee shop off Watchung in Montclair. I've been going here for years and am always treated with great service and great drinks. The owners are such nice folks, too.

Not to mention, the doughnuts they source are incredible. No, really, you have to get one if you visit.

My wife and I have been coming here for years and we adore it. This place is the definition of community and connection. 10/10 always recommend. And their harvest latte is brilliant. Brenna is a genius barista and always invents the coolest drinks.

Went here for the first time on a Saturday morning with a friend. The staff is high energy / positive and helpful. The place is well kept with some small tables and a counter area to hang out. The cold brew coffee I had was excellent and provided a needed bolt of caffeine. I highly recommend this local coffee place, and will definitely be going back

Great coffee and espresso drinks. I’m not too fond of the beans they use, but they still make a great drink. One thing they do well which a lot of coffee shops mess up on is layering the espresso drinks properly. They do it well here. When the milk is steamed and poured well, you get a great texture and even flavor throughout your drink...this is important, and their baristas know it.

A cute cafe spot around the corner. It aligns with its name, as the local neighborhood is also very pretty. They have coffee items as well as some muffins, cookies etc. They have indoor as well as outdoor seating. There’s street parking available.

They make a really good latte! The staff are fabulous. They recall all the regulars and are informed and friendly. I felt like a regular after just having come twice. Cute atmosphere and I love that the owner decided to feature local artists.

Everyone working there was super nice! definitely recommend getting the Brooklyn while it’s still on the menu

One of my favorite coffee shops in the area. I always try to stop by here anytime I'm around. They make a great cup of coffee and have a fun rotation of pastries that I like to try sometimes.

I had a decaf ice coffee and a tahini cookie- a unique and delicious find! Local Coffee has a small menu of single origin coffees that gives me a west-coast-we-take-our-coffee-seriously vibe and I dig it. It’s a small spot with quick service and on trend decor. Overall an awesome spot for a quick recharge. I wouldn’t expect to stay incredibly long - just long enough to refuel.

It’s a 10/10 coffee shop. Donut Plant donuts with their perfect flat white’s and cappuccinos is a literal slice of heaven in New Jersey.

I've been here a few times as my toddler son has started to have appointments nearby, and every time it's been a great experience. The coffee is great - it definitely tends to be on the strong side, which I personally enjoy. I buy my son a treat every time and everything has been delicious. It's a great atmosphere - everyone is very kind and welcoming to my son, and he loves that dogs are allowed in! It's become a weekly tradition that we both look forward to!

Cool coffee spot to grab a tasty cup! Space is typically full, so this is more of a grab and go or sit for a few minutes and talk to a friend kind of café. Not a sit and work spot as you will see from the “laptop free” “share a seat with some one new” signs. I had a large oat latte which was delicious and I was pleasantly surprised with the heart art. I would definitely spot in again

there are a lot of great options to get coffee in Montclair, but local coffee might be my new favorite cafe. the cashier and the barista/owner were so friendly, when they greet you it's as if they were welcoming back an old friend. i was actually taken aback by how quickly my drinks came out and with pretty latte art...it seemed like a shame to put covers over them and carry it out lol. if you're looking for a lot of different flavors you might find their menu limited. however, this is a solid spot for cortados and other espresso drinks. hopefully this place will stay a "local" hidden gem for awhile.

I enjoyed the chai latte I got. One of the spicier ones I've tasted in a good way. My friend got the matcha chai latte and she liked it as well. It's a tiny little spot but a really cool set up and vibe.

I organize a monthly coffee meetup and contacted Robert, the owner.

He was quick to accommodate my group and was incredibly gracious.

The coffee was delicious and the pastries were also memorable. The ambience is immaculate yet inviting whether for quick pickup or to stay and enjoy.
