Fox Preserve

Came here on a cold winter day and was not disappointed. The trail was a little rough from multiple freezes/thaws but that was the only downside.
The trail is well marked and had an additional side trail. Near the top of the first quarter of the trail is a clearing with some benches and a beautiful view. For being in the middle of a residential area the reserve really feels like it's tucked away for the most part. And it's got ample parking too!

What a little secret this place is! I googled it this Am, brought my 2 yr old twins and 5lb chihuahua, and we had ourselves a time! Beautiful scenery, fairly easy walking, and lots of wildlife. I highly recommend this little spot. Also, we didn’t have any run ins with big dogs. We didn’t run into anyone at all!

Never miss the sunset at Fox Preserve, wonderful for walking or biking. Recommended for the full family.

Love the walking trail and the top of the trail is a sitting place in open sky sounding by bushes.

Just off River Road with plenty of paved parking, this .87 mile loop boasts views of the Mohawk River and a dirt/rocky trail. The trail takes you through some forest vegetation, so wear long pants, bug spray, and check yourself for ticks immediately afterward. There's no bathrooms or concessions, just a looped trail and a chance to visit nature! They ask you to sign the guest register, which is useful for receiving grant money.

Nice easy walk in the woods. Good for all ages. My cousin & I took our 10, 4 & 2 year old boys.

We had a great walk! Beautifully at the Mohawk River. The path meets the Shaker River on the fox trail.
