Cafe at 407

This is a wonderful place. I brought my autistic daughter that has a feeding disorder, to work on community habilitation and tolerating eating in public. We got there at 12:40pm, I didn’t know they close at 1pm. They stayed open for us so she could finish her food, and made me a coffee with a heart on it because she had seen it online and associated that with the place we were going. They were super nice and kind :)

Great atmosphere and food/drinks! This is a nice place to meet up with friends or do work on your own. The staff are very friendly, too. They have a good variety of baked goods and some gluten free options. There’s some outdoor seating for the summer, too.

Really enjoyed the ambiance of the cafe, and the food and drink were great: I ordered an egg sandwich and café au lait. The cashier was a very nice young man, and he explained to me the non-profit for which this cafe is the headquarters. I would highly recommend coming here, this place works for a good cause, helping those with eating disorders/disordered eating.

stopped in for a quick breakfast, ordered breakfast sandwich on everything bagel with bacon, and good cup of coffee..very good. nice clean place..would stop back in again

I’m on vacation from out of town but originally born and raised in Syracuse. I haven’t heard of this cafe before and I love cafes so after finding this on google and coming here myself I have to say this cafe has really good workers. Ladies you do an awesome job. The atmosphere has cafe vibes. People on their laptops, just hanging out, meeting up with friends, etc. a little on the loud side for a cafe but the doesn’t effect the experience I had here at all. I recommend the Vermont melt. Comes with a salad. It was very good! Ever had apples on a melt? Sounds weird doesn’t it? Don’t write it off it was amazing. They’re pretty busy the entire time their open so be patient you’ll get great service regardless on how many people are here. If I’m ever in town again I’ll definitely be back. I had to get another iced latte to go it was so good and refreshing. Also good job ladies I personally like to see women owner and/or lead businesses. Very empowering. Great job!

Also love the message “everybody is beautiful” they go by here. Next time I’ll buy one of those shirts.

This place creates a beautiful atmosphere for anyone looking for some serious down time. I enjoyed a delicious gluten free panini outside with some friends. They even had a doggie water bowl that they kept full near the entrance.

Great Cafe with a great mission. Would love more gluten free/meat options but great atmosphere and probably the coolest place around for a nice breakfast Cafe style.

I never knew Cafe at 407 existed. A charming little bistro with amazing food and beverages offerings. The seating is great. Plenty of tables and cute comfy seating too. The artwork on the walls speaks of Cafe 407's vision. I love that it is a cafe with a mission. Please check it out.

The staff are amazing and kind. The vibes are immaculate. The apparel and swag are so beautifully designed. The mission is beautiful. And the food is amazing. Do yourself a favor and order Salt City’s vanilla oat milk latte over ice.

The iced latte was absolutely delicious. Staff are super nice. The egg/bacon/cheese Sammie was awesome. I had the vegan Sammie which was okay but a bit of a disappointment. The sourdough bread with a square slice of vegan cheese and sausage seemed to be missing something. I would definitely go back next time I'm in town. This place was recommended by Freedom of Espresso when they ran out of items.

Love this little coffee shop. The lunch food is better than the breakfast food, but they have vegetarian and gluten free options which is nice.

No joke. Hands down best breakfast sandwich I've ever eaten. I got the home made biscuit. Egg, cheese, and beyond sausage. The biscuit was literally a perfect biscuit and I they must get some local cheese that was perfectly sharp but not overpowering.

Just seriously an amazing breakfast sandwich.

The food is delicious and for a great cause. Small market of local food options like honey and salt, beautiful decor, and quick service. my favorite Friday morning date spot!

Had an absolutely lovely lunch at Cafe at 407! Deliciously fresh meal, friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere. We weren't aware of the closing time and the staff kindly let us enjoy our time past normal hours. We appreciated this above and beyond lunch experience very much! Can't wait to go back!!!

1st time here today. I enjoyed finding a place to get good quality Gluten Free food that tastes great! Nice atmosphere. A little quiet for us, had we been students on computers or someone reading a novel and having a great Cappuchino' perfect place. All in All. Great place. Great Message.

absolutely LOVE this place! the atmosphere is so welcoming and body positive, the workers are kind and easy to talk to, and a big plus is calories aren’t listed next to food and drink items unlike many other places around the Syracuse area. Definitely recommend!!

Definitely one of my favorite coffee shops. The place is spacious, and just the right size considering the number of people they serve. The food is good and reasonably unique, the staff is friendly, and the seating is varied. It's a good place to go to get work done or meet up with family and colleagues. And it funds a good cause.

It's very bougie. They serve a good blend of coffee, medium roast with a good body but just a little acidity. I prefer darker roasts in general since I grew up drinking bitter coffees, but theirs was a good mix. Their tuna salad panini is quite nice. It tasted good. The tuna seemed to be fresh and then made into salad. This is one of the few places that gives you a reasonable amount to eat, and doesn't try to feed you like you're a farm animal feeding from a trough; meaning serving sizes are filling but you don't need to throw away food. They donate proceeds to Ophelia's Place, which is also nice.
