Deanna's Communion Dress Boutique supersedes all expectations! We were so elated about the wonderful experience we shared with her and the amazing staff in selecting the perfect Communion dress for my daughter! We would like to convey our heartfelt thanks to her for all of your time, energy, patience and talent that she devoted to us! We appreciate all of the kind assistance from Deanna and her girls as my daughter tried on many dresses- several times each. It was a difficult decision, because she had such an outstanding selection of so many beautiful and stylish dresses to choose from- and they all are of the highest quality! We were very touched- and very glad- that she put aside that dress for my daughter without us even requesting… she knew right away that it was “the one”, but my daughter wanted to think about it overnight before making her decision! We all had a wonderful time coming back to her lovely boutique and picking out the perfect tiara and veil for her amazing dress- she looked breathtakingly beautiful-and we all are so happy knowing that she now has the perfect Communion dress! Deanna and her girls made it so much fun when my daughter said “Yes to the Dress”! It will be a moment in time that we all treasure and remember! Finding the perfect communion dress for your little one is an important occasion, and the experience should be just as special. Our experience was very positive and the shop went beyond the ordinary to help us.

From the moment we stepped into the shop, we were greeted with warmth and genuine kindness. The staff and owner Deanna treated us very well and made our daughter comfortable with the experience. They took the time to understand our requests and offering expert guidance without being pushy.

They offer a great selection of dresses and ultimately helped us picked something our daughter fell in love with and is excited to wear. Very much recommended.

As a grandparents invited to accompany our granddaughter to find a dress. I must say Dianna is a wonderful welcoming professional. The girls dresses are beautiful and as detailed as a wedding dress. Over this past weekend my family and I took my daughter to Buttons and Bows for her communion dress . As soon as we entered DeAnna’s beautiful boutique we were welcomed and felt right at home . There was one dress more beautiful than the next. DeAnna and her staff were so extremely helpful sweet and kind to us. DeAnna saw my vision instantly. I loved that I was able to just sit back relax as my daughter came out modeling each dress. It truly was a “Say yes to the dress” experience. That you will not find anywhere else!! We came from far and it was totally worth the trip! Most importantly my daughter felt like a princess and this is a day she will never ever forget and neither will we! For my upcoming wedding, I wanted to give my flower girls a Say-Yes-To-The-Dress moment. Buttons and Bows Children Boutique was the only store in the tri-state area to offer this magical event. We could not have asked for better! Deana and her staff are wonderfully accommodating. Price point is on the higher end ($200+) but the quality and the once in a lifetime occasion make it worth it.

If you are looking for a Communion dress, Christening dress or flower girl dress, go no further than Buttons and Bows Boutique in St. James. It is by appointment only and truly a stunning experience. The dresses are high quality and the owner is phenomenal. She took one look at my daughter, pulled three dresses to try and everyone (including grandparents!) was happy! The one to one attention truly made this not just another shop, but an incredible experience!! The owner came to our rescue after trying four other stores with no success. I am forever grateful for this shop and its dedicated owner!

Thank you to Deanna for making my family and my nieces experience choosing her communion gown so memorable! working at Kleinfeld Bridal in NYC for the last 10 years, I have high expectations on what an experience should be. In March 2023, I accompanied my niece to Buttons & Bows In St. James to find a Communion dress for my 7 year old great niece. We were very fortunate to have a private consultation with Deanna, the store's owner. Although there was a very large inventory of beautiful dresses in the store, my greatniece loved the first dress that she saw when she entered the store. Deanna made sure that the dress was special ordered with specifications to make sure the dress fit perfectly. Deanna treats every child and their relatives like royalty! She takes photos with a "Say Yes to the Dress" sign that is an adorable and very special experience! Deanna is an expert seamstress/ designer with a wealth of experience in girl's dresses for Communions (Baptisms, Weddings and other special occasions). I highly recommend Deanna and Button & Bows for finding the perfect dress for your little girls!

I recently went to Buttons and Bows and had the most wonderful experience. I brought my four young children to look for a communion dress. I was amazed by the beautiful dresses, but more impressed with how kind the staff was to my family. My daughter was treated like a princess and the staff included my two other daughters and young 2 year old son in the experience. After going to 4 other boutiques, my daughter Savannah found the most perfect dress that fit her and her personality. Unfortunately, my husband was at work, but we made a video and he was able to share in the experience. I highly recommend this boutique to anyone looking to have a memorable experience. I wish I knew of this place years ago. Thank you so much for making such a wonderful memory for my family. It truly was a pleasure shopping at your boutique and meeting you. What a wonderful experience it was to work with the owner and designer of many of the dresses. Deanna is amazing and so gifted at pairing the right dress for the child.

We had the most amazing time with Deanna and Robin today at Buttons and Bows. We drove all the way from Westchester and so happy we made the drive to find my daughters communion dress. The dresses were extraordinary especially Deanna’s custom ones. The designs were exquisite and details so intricate. We weren’t sure on the pricing but she was sure to point this out before picking/choosing the dress.
Deanna accommodated both my daughter and her best friend at the same time making this such a memorable experience. We have nothing but rave reviews for her and store. These girls will remember this day forever. Thank you!

What a fun experience! We just recently went to buttons & bows children’s boutique this past weekend. Let me start by saying the boutique is clean, well organized and filled with Many beautiful communion dresses that it’s almost impossible that you don’t walk out with something you fell in love with!
We were happily greeted and were given Undivided attention the entire Duration of our appointment. She put my daughter on a Pedestal and let her twirl in every dress.

If I could give 100 stars I would!! Deanna was an absolute pleasure to work with. From the moment we walked in she treated my daughter like a princess. She was kind, caring and patient while my daughter tried on a ton of dresses. We never felt rushed. She made us feel like family. When we picked up the dress, same thing. I can not say enough about Deanna and Buttons & Bows! We met last year for my twins communion and I knew that I would be back for my last child’s communion. I was very late in looking for dresses last year and Deanna was able to schedule me an appointment right away. When we went to the shop it felt like we had been friends for years! She was so friendly, caring and fun! Deanna worked with me to find the perfect dresses for my girls all while making them feel like total princesses! This year I decided to get a head start and contacted her as soon as we found out the communion date. We scheduled a time and went in knowing that I’d find another masterpiece of a dress. I was not surprised when we found another perfect dress for my baby! Aside from Deanna being amazing her dresses are just gorgeous! I went to visit this store today to shop for a communion dress for my daughter. From the minute I entered the boutique, I knew I would be walking out with a happy little lady!
The owner, Deanna, and staff Robin were very welcoming and made this whole experience so special. They both were just so sweet, and very helpful! I didn’t feel rushed at all during our appointment and Deanna and Robin both took there time matching the perfect tiara and veil to every dress she tried on. The dresses in this store were stunning and the customer service we received was top notch! I totally recommend going to see Deanna and shopping at Buttons and Bows. I’m super impressed with how great the service was. Deanna went above and beyond with my daughter. She made sure my daughter was happy with the dress and made her try on as many dresses until she was comfortable. Each dress she tried on was better than the last. We were not rushed at all unlike some places we have visited in the past. My daughter said “yes to the dress” on her first visit. Deanna made my daughter feel super special the entire time we were there. Upon entering the store to exiting our appointment, she didn’t leave our side. Deanna is down to earth and is a wonderful person. The quality of the dresses are all amazing and you can tell she puts her hard work and passion into every dress she makes. I took my daughter for her first communion dress and the entire experience was wonderful. Deanna and Robin made my daughter feel like a princess and while every dress in the shop is gorgeous, they helped her pick one that was truly unique and perfect for her.
