The food was great and the service was awesome. We love their hibachi food and the fire show in particular. It's my birthday, and I was surprised by the unexpected celebration along with other customers celebrating their (wedding) anniversary with the same duration of year as my age. What a coincidence! I'll never forget this day.

Amazing from start to finish! It was complete mayhem 2 days before Christmas; the waiting area and bar were packed, but the front staff handled the chaos with pure professionalism! Yes we were seated 45 minutes after our reservation time, but we understood how busy they were and were willing to wait for the scrumptious dishes Ichiban is known for. The wait staff were attentive and expeditious with our orders. Chef Joseph, who we learned later is the new owner, was absolutely fantastic and entertaining. We have been going here for 15 of my eldest daughters 30 birthdays and can definitely say this visit was the most fun and entertaining. He kept us engaged the whole time, and he is one hell of a good cook!! I was a bit Leary when I learned it was under new management, but I feel it is just as good if not better than before. Kudos to the entire Ichiban staff, you rocked it!! Thank you chef Joseph, we can't wait until our next meal from this delightful restaurant!

We hadn't been in years.... and being under "new ownership- management" we were a bit concerned that it would not measure up to the "Ogatta Original." It was 3 of us, for hibachi, for a birthday, seated with 2 other families. We were all seated on time according to the reservation. Serving attendants were professional, flexible, efficient, friendly. Prices were always "a bit extravagant" but nothing to complain about, as the freshness, flavor, preparation, were as wonderful as they always had been. Portions were still lovely and filling. The "only thing" I missed was that the soup w/ the hibachi dinner "used to be" much more "classic" which had been miso with small bits of soft tofu and seaweed, but todays' was a bit more americanized of yummy salty chicken broth (fat free, no old or fat), and noodles and a few thinly sliced green onions. (Would have preferred the miso tofu, for me, but maybe it's not a Treat for ppl anymore.). Also it was a nice option to have fried noodles rather than fried rice. I noticed that at our table there were some folks with dietary/alergy needs, and the staff and the kitchen accommodated proactively. The tenderloin perfection, scallops perfection, shrimp perfection, teriyaki chicken perfection. Thrilled that the classic ginger salad dressing was still the primary election for the crisp cold salad. Everything was clean and operational. No glitches whatsoever. And the chef, was amazing. It was a great experience. We thoroughly enjoyed and wish the new ownership and team amazing success! Thank you!

My daughter has a ton of food allergies (including egg and sesame) so we’ve always been nervous to bring her to Ichiban even though we love it. We brought her tonight and they were so accommodating and had a solid food allergy plan so I felt very at ease. They prepared her dinner separately and she ate it with no issues. Great experience!

⛩Under new management⛩ 🎍But still just as Delicious!🎋 Never a disappointment when I/we dine there 🐉 On the pricey side 💱 but my all past and my latest experiences, have yet to have to the means to speak of or even recall of anything going even slightly wrong and without question, you will always go home with leftovers bc they cook everyone a hearty abundance per course and it's so tasty 😋 you won't want to NOT take it with you when cashing out 🧾

With exception of this one occasion...

I'll admit. I am kind of sad 😶 they no longer serve the Sho' Gun 🇯🇵 special. Also they no longer provide the adorable Geisha and Buddha mugs 🎎 with tiny umbrellas for the Alcohol beverages 🍹 (those really MADE the drink and were awesome souvenirs).

But on the up side, my 55⃣ year old son was completely attentive 👀 and entertained 🤩 with at table cooking. He was amazed with the fire 🔥🌋 show and thought the hibachi chef 🧑‍🍳 little tricks 🥚🍳🍤 were hilarious 😃.

And he thought his floating marble soda was the coolest 😎("Ramune"; non-alcoholic, caffeine-free beverage in glass bottle with pinched bottle neck and floating glass marble atop the pinch of the neck. Similar to carbonated lemonade. Comes in variety of flavors. He picked orange 🍊)

He was so amused he ate without fussing that he didn't like it because he didn't know what it was 🥡 and he even attempted using chopsticks 🥢

Definitely a place of many happy memories 🌸 around the dinner table, with great food and family, friends and strangers alike 💗

Great dinner with our wonderful co-workers and Bridget made sure our last visit before our move to Texas was one of the most memorable we have had during our 20 years of Ichiban meals! Also really enjoyed Brian and his family who joined our Celebration from the other end of the table!

Absolutely amazing experience, it was quiet when we went first thing as they opened so it was a quiet, relaxing experience. The hibachi chef was very sweet and did an amazing job. Fried rice was great and the steak was cooked absolutely perfect medium rare. Would definitely recommend

Long wait, party before us overstayed, reservations at 7 seated at just before 8, waitress made up for it with two free apps. Special dietary needs were easily accommodated by staff, and the two children with us loved it the show! My family is extremely appreciative of the chef and staff, we tipped well and you should too!
