Mt Ivy Liquor Store

Was searching for a hard to find liquor and this store had it. But what really led me to write this review was the personable owner. You know when you walk in to some stores, you just feel uncomfortable? Immediately after walking in I was greeted and helped with an easy going and positive attitude. Nice to see someone taking pride in their store. Highly recommended!

I discovered this wonderful shop a few years ago when I was looking for Echte Kroatzbeere (a great blackberry liqueur). They had it and the owner shared his love of it with me. Since then I've asked him for numerous recommendations and all have been great. Take the time to speak with the owner and you won't be disappointed, I always feel like I'm visiting a friend.

The man at the counter was so helpful and answered all of our questions. He didn't try to sell us expensive drinks, only what we needed. The prices were cheaper than nearby liquor stores. Great place. Would shop there again.

Really large selection and the owner is incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. Just ask for what you're looking for and it's very likely to be instantly found in the back.
