Haven't been to CJ's in ages. I was right around the corner and it's Friday! Perfect timing as a fresh batch of fish was just coming out of the deep fryer. One piece to go. Perfect sized serving. Hot and tasty! Cost $5.75. Sorry no picture, to darn hungry when I got home. ( I added my own slaw style salad)

CJ's is in a rather awkward location, but the food is definitely worth risking the tail end of your vehicle backing out onto a busy section of Teall Ave. This place reminds me of places in New England where you queue up, place an order and watch it being made. They write your order on a paper bag into which it goes once it's complete. The place was jam packed on a recent Friday night but service was fairly quick and the food was hot and delicious. I wasn't thrilled with the clam chowder, though. It was too thick and had few clams and too many potatoes. The fish and chips were great, though, and the onion rings wonderful. Check it out!

I LOVE eating at cjs! The staff is so nice and funny! The line’s usually short and the food is ALWAYS amazing. I look forward to their fish sandwiches every week! 10/10 recommend!!!!

BEST FISH DINNER IN TOWN, NO DOUBT ABOUT IT!!! The staff being as amazing as the seafood!!! The haddock is fresh, flaky, just incredible, absolutely cooked perfectly. Huge portions at great prices make the long lines worth the wait! Get there early, they were out of scallops and clams but did announce that right away. The onion rings are a must!!! I cant say enough about how great the staff was, especially the owner!! He jumps right in and works with everyone to keep the lines running smoothly!! Same with the great guy at the door!! They keep the social distancing while moving the line quickly....do dont let the long lines out the door deter you, it moves along quick!! I bought so much food that they even carried it out to my truck for me, it was SO APPRECIATED and really made my day!!! i will be back next Friday for sure!!!

Fried fish was DELICIOUS, perfectly battered and cooked. Sides we're also excellent. Fries and onion rings weren't anything special, but maybe they just didn't travel well. Staff knew what they were doing and we're respectful and kind. Really good place, I'll be back.

Every time I go get fish at this place it is always done perfect. Parking is on the street and I always have been able to get a space to park. I would not recommend parking on the other side of the street because it would be hard to get across the street. The vehicles are going fast down that road. Many speeders and a lot of traffic during the time they are open.

This is the best fish in town. They have their business down to a science! They move like a well oiled machine. The food is always hot and fresh and tastes great!! I have only one complaint and that's that it's only open Fridays!!

Parking is horrible and dangerous, the lines are long, and they're only open 1 day per week. My dad was hit buy a car... inside the building, someone went straight through the wall! All that said it's the best fish sandwich in Central New York and I'll stand in line for an hour for a sandwich and mac salad.

The best fried fish in town with quick, friendly service. Only open on Fridays. They have fish sandwiches and dinners...clams, shrimp, and other fried foods. They have an assortment of sides, from baked beans to cold mac and potato salads. This is a cash-only establisment, and if you wait until the last minute... they've been known to sell out.

One of the best (if not the best) places in the area for fish fry. Excellent food and prices. Cash only and only open on Fridays. Parking is a nightmare and makes the road incredibly dangerous.

Very good fish at this establishment the fish is fresh fried nice and crisp and you don't have a fishy smell when you're traveling to bring it home to eat.
