Grandview Theater and Drafthouse

This place is amazing. I’m currently at the Mean Girls beer tasting but I’ve been going to this theater for about 6 years now. I’m pretty regular here and let me tell you; this staff treats you amazingly, the beer is well-priced, and they have some of the most fun events that I have ever been to in the Columbus area. They even gave me a baby onesie when I showed up to a beer tasting when pregnant in 2021. (And no, I didn’t drink at that specific beer tasting lol). ALSO THE PIZZA? Bangin’. Support local, they’re great people here.

Great local business!!! Many creative events offered. Comfortable setup to watch a movie. The bar and theatre are clean and well kept. Food is great with unique offerings. The owner is very friendly, hands on, and hospitable. I always have a great experience here and the other location in Clintonville.

Really love this place! Great staff, great draft choices! Love the new Neapolitan pizza and their new second screen room is cozy but still feels like a big screen experience. Only thing we’d want to change is that the stair lighting in the new screen room is pretty bright, turning off the step lights but keeping the trim light on during moves would help tremendously. That said, the new projector is pretty bright that it doesn’t wash the screen out much.

We had an amazing girls' night out at Grandview Theater! The food and drinks were absolutely delicious, and the whole atmosphere is just so nostalgic and charming. The theater itself is perfect for a cozy and unique movie experience. If you're looking to shake things up and avoid the usual large movie theater scene, I can't recommend Grandview Theater highly enough. It's a must-visit for a memorable movie night out.

This is by far my favorite theater to visit out of any theater I have been to. The beer selection is amazing. The movies they show are outstanding, and the special movie events they have are so fun! Can't wait to come back.

Clean, quirky, and loaded with character. One of my favorite independently owned theaters. Current movie selections, unique craft beers, and you can’t beat the popcorn and Prosecco combo! Be sure to check out its sister, Studio 35, in Clintonville. Just as excellent!

Love love love this theatre. Movies and concessions are reasonably prices. Family friendly. Free kids movies in the summer. Local hangout for drinks. Special viewings of sporting events like USWNT World Cup games. Love some good themed parties/tastings and holiday decor. Haven't tried their pizza yet but hope to soon!

Excellent popcorn, drinks, and staff. Only downside is that the theater chairs aren’t the most comfy. The ability to tilt is nice but if you’re going to have tilting chairs, they need to have a headrest to support your head otherwise your neck gets fatigued.

Tremendous crowd of owners and workers that create the experience.

It's a newer appreciation for an older craft. The theater was actually nicer than AMC 8 through 24, with much better food and drink.

Look out Columbus, "craft services" are coming back!

Quite literally, I would recommend this as a pub alone.. but it's also got an amazing theater in back.

I stop here every time I'm in Columbus. The beer list is impeccable and the staff is super friendly. They also have an amazing variety of custom pint glasses.

Best tap selection in town, I kid you not. These guys know what they're doing. I enjoyed a spicy pizza, a new offering. Now that there are two theaters, I wish they'd add some art-house type movies to the usual first-run blockbusters, but either way I'm darn glad to live near this neighborhood gem.

As their name implies they are a true draft house. Tons of great beer to choose from plus pizza and wings delivered from grandadas pizza.

WOW! WHAT A PLACE! First time in Grandview and LOVED IT! Every old school theatre should follow your model. We were there for Mike Burns' memorial service and private screening of Rock and Roll High School. Can't wait to return.

Wonderful atmosphere with even better pizza, if you want the genuine movie theater experience as it should be this is the place.

Best movie experience I’ve ever had. Whether going just to chill and have a beer or see a movie it’s always a welcoming place to spend time. Great people, great drinks, and great atmosphere are a constant here.
Also do not underestimate their beer selection. Top notch 👌

We love this theatre for many reasons. 1. It’s independently owned. 2. The staff are kind and funny 3. The beer selection is unique 4. Vegan za is available and all pizza is $10 on Monday
