Excellent! Buttermilk Fried Brie w/ Fig Jam was an amazing way to start the meal! 17 West Salad great blend of flavors. Salad dressings are homemade! Highly recommended Pork Chop. Tender and flavorful like a steak! Chicken Picatta was tender and juicy. Cheesecake and brownies are a great finish. Server was prompt and have great recommendations. Very clean and inspiring decor. Overall a wonderful gem!

Super neat dining experience in a quiet, charming town. The food was excellent! If a big city quality dining experience is what you're looking for but you don't want the big city noise and hubbub, 17 West is the place to be.

Lovely place. Very cozy, clean and classic feeling. It gets very busy for dinner, so it's good to make a reservation. Service was excellent and attentive. The drinks look delicious at the bar. I got Chicken Piccata which comes with capers, mashed potatoes and broccoli. It was delicious and filling. The people who visit the restaurant seem to be professionals, older couples, and a few young couples. Kind, polite, relaxed and happy atmosphere. The chef changes up the menu and adds new dishes every month, so you know it's going to be good and fresh.

My wife and I had an early dinner on a Wednesday. The restaurant was immaculate and well kept. The server was with us immediately and was very attentive through the entire meal. My wife had the shepherds pie and said it was the best she had ever had. I had the garden Alfredo. The pasta was perfect and the sauce light and complementary not heavy like a lot of Alfredo sauces. The prices were very reasonable for the experience and impeccable meals. This is not a chain experience it is a beautifully prepared meal in a perfect setting with the best service I have encountered in a long time. Treat yourself you won’t be disappointed.

After a visit to the Bicycle Museum in New Bremen, I ate lunch at 17 West, next door to the Museum. I ate outside on the patio at a table covered by a large umbrella. The server, Michael, was very attentive. I had the Citrus Soy Salmon with came with a variety of vegetables including mashed cauliflower. I really loved the mashed cauliflower.

This restaurant is a true diamond in the rough. I gave it a 5 stars because they truly deserved it. Such a wonderful atmosphere, and the food was completely top-notch. More restaurants should be like this place. This will be our go-to restaurant. Great job to staff that worked Monday night!!! 9/25/23. 👍

The menu here is outstanding! A large variety of carefully crafted items that you just don't see elsewhere. The service was amazing, and everything tasted great. We will be back! They do have several vegetarian options as well. The cost isn't too bad at all, especially for lunch.

I was pleasantly surprised by 17 West in New Bremen, Ohio. I was visiting from Colorado and my sister (who lives a block away) took me here for lunch. We were welcomed warmly and service was prompt and friendly. The food was delicious and the atmosphere outstanding. I will definitely be back on my next visit to Ohio.

Exceptional restaurant with an expansive menu. Visited 17 West for lunch and we were very impressed with the selection as well as quality of our food. Very welcoming establishment and would strongly recommend visiting if you have the opportunity.

Great food! We ordered the lobster corn fritters for an appetizer. They were delicious! Also had the crab cake BLT with fries. The crab cake is spicy, but very good. The fries were perfect! We also split the brownie dessert...amazing. They have a large bar of beers, wines and other liquors. Overall, the food was fantastic! Definitely a new favorite eating spot.

Where to start ... this place is amazing the moment you walk in the door ! High class place without the high prices . Inside looks extremely clean and well kept .

This is a great local restaurant. The people are friendly and the food is great. We had a large group for an event and they took great care of us. The meatloaf was awesome.

17 west is the embodiment of everything fantastic about New Bremen. It is one, clean. Spotless. It's a reflection of the orderly and spotless town. Two, it is generous. The portions are massive and the attention to detail is second to none. Three, it is absolutely and totally dedicated to customer service. My personal example: I threw them a curve ball, asking for a chocolate milkshake.

It's not really in line with the offerings of a steakhouse.

From the servers reaction, I don't know that it'd ever been ordered by anyone dining there previously.

All that did not stop them. They made a fantastic quality milkshake. I indulged. I had three before the night was over, and being from out of town on business, 17 West made a fantastic statement about the town, the people, and the businesses that call New Bremen home. I will be happy to visit again as a necessity of visiting Ohio in the future.

UPDATE:
We were so happy that 17 West brought back their signature steaks. We returned and had one of the best meals we have had....anywhere, and we live in DC, where the choices are plentiful. The veal chop and ribeye are second to none, as are all the sides. Waitress was a delight, and the cocktails are always made to perfection. Truly one of our favorite places that we visit, and we've traveled the entire country!!

QWe were really looking forward to stopping in at our favorite small town restaurant, but were so very disappointed when we learned the menu changed, and no longer offered the best steaks. Why on earth would you add chopped steak, and remove a ribeye?! We honestly looked forward to coming here every time we were in town. Sadly, the menu is now just boring, and we'll be looking for an alternative place to dine.

The food and atmosphere are amazing. We always request Macy as our server…she is phenomenal!

We took one of our pastors and spouse here for our meeting for our wedding. Great atmosphere, food is great, service exceptional. We go here about 4x a year. A little expensive but would have to drive an hour away for quality and choices. Much preferable with 15 minute drive. My favorite dish is the seared tuna. A must every-time we go.

Great food, good drink. A little bit more bitters than necessary in the old fashioned.

1st time visiting and the service was great and prompt. Atmosphere was great with a little back ground music. Great evening overall

This is a highly recommended spot for a delicious lunch or dinner with friends and family. The real winner is their Ohio-made cocktail made with Buckeye Vodka! The food is amazing, and the people behind the bar are even better!
