We enjoyed our visit to Lake Loramie State Park. Located just a few miles from Minster, Ohio the park offers much to do including hiking and biking trails, boating, fishing, swimming, and has a nice sandy beach area with playground and picnic shelter. The park has a fairly large campground area and offers cabin rentals. We visited during the week and it was very quiet and peaceful.

WE LOVED THIS PARK!! We took our mountain bikes on the trails. We took our kayaks out on the water. We had breakfast by the museum and met such wonderful people. The park was clean. The only downside was that the Blackberry Island trail wasn't groomed, and we weren't able to ride the trail. They even came around with tootsie rolls for the dad's for a Father's Day treat.

Always a great place to go to relax or spend time with family & friends.
Multitude of little and big areas around the lake to get together to fish or have parties.
Venues available to rent.
Close to some local restaurants.
Quite a few boat docking locations.
Restrooms are usually closed until its officially Spring.

Great place to unwind or take the kids for some fresh air or a picnic. Plenty of seating and tables. Beach area is pretty good sized and not too far of a walk from parking lot. Great photo opportunities with tons of open space. Fishing looks great (with license) and boat ramps also.

What a great park, we had a great time there. And check out Morrie's across the street, great restaurant.

Such a lovely place! The lake is amazing and is cared for meticulously! There are so many little fingers and amazing places to picnic, fish, boat, hang out and even take your dog and it's all on the water. There are all kinds of little peninsulas and Islands.

One of my top campgrounds and lakes. Great full hookups. The fishing always excellent. Crappie and Channel.

We hiked the (easy) Lakeview Trail to the Blackberry Island bridge. I suggest you download the ODNR's Ohio Trails - DETOUR app.
The small beach area was very clean.

Beautiful and clean, great place for kayaking, biking and camping or just a roadside stop and rest. No scuba diving allowed here, but there is a small beach and swimming. Blue herons frequent here as well.

This was our first time here and it was fantastic. The camp hosts put on a breakfast Saturday morning which was very good. The restaurant across the street was awesome for dinner and breakfast. I think it was called morrys landing.

Quiet, end of season camping. Water is turned off to the sites, but we knew that and planned accordingly. 50 Amp Electric was good for running the heat pump.
Great weekend for camping in an almost deserted state park with friends.

We enjoyed our weekend camping. They had a breakfast Saturday morning for donations, and it wasn't to bad. Except ran out of coffee..lol
We really didn't have any interactions with any one except the window lady so we can't say anything about the camp hosts.
Fishing was ok for the catfish, so we drowned a few 🐛🪱. Was some nice keepers, but not our thing. Catch and release is our thing.
Our campsite must have had a ant colony, cause those big black ones was very bad, in everything.

Nice place to visit. Wide and open places to take in the view. Lots of ramps and docks for boating.

This is a really nice lake, it is a kayakers paradise as there is only one very small part of the lake the full size boats can go full speed. The majority of the lake is idle speed only. The lake is very shallow. We had never been but saw it and stopped by last year on our way home from Indian Lake. We were looking for somewhere new to check out. It is very nice, beautiful and clean. I don't think we will go back as it just didn't fit our purposes. We go to bass fish and it was simply just too shallow of a lake. We did catch 3 bass tho! 2, 2 lb and a 1 lb fish! All the other fisherman we encountered said 2 lbs is about the biggest you'll find there! The deepest part that I saw on our fish finder was 9ft. However, 2 ft-4ft was pretty much the whole entire lake!

We love it here, clean bathrooms and nice campsites, small enough to be homey but big enough to not be onto of eachother

Campgrounds are nice and well maintained. There are parking pads for your vehicle(s), as well as concrete pads containing all your hook-ups, and another pad for your picnic table. The parking was definitely nice for leveling purposes upon arrival! Will definitely return!

What an awesome park to stay at! Very clean and neatly kept. The hosts are amazing. They even offer a breakfast by donations. We where not up early enough but it’s a great perk. There is plenty for the kids to do. They play moves, have corn hole, volleyball, gaga pit, sandbox with toys, and more. You can enjoy fishing, kayaking, canoeing, or bring your pontoon boat. Bathrooms are in clean nice condition along with the showers. Next to those are a washer and dryer. Then on the other side there is a large stainless sink for washing whatever you need like dishes. The sites are all good size and a lot of full hook ups are available. There is also a nature center as well. I highly recommend staying here! I’m sure they have more that I don’t know about.

We had a great time! You have a view of water from most places in the park. There were alot of people but it was no less enjoyable as the camp hosts were out constantly speaking with people and keeping it well maintained. The people working the camp store were very nice and helpful. Lots of playground space for those with children.

Beautiful place to camp! We stayed 2 nights here at a primitive site & were very impressed. The bathrooms & showers are really nice for a campground. They have a beach, corn hole, horseshoes, playground & trails. The camp store has all the essentials including ice. We will be back!
