The Coffee Vault

This place is great! If you haven’t been I’d highly suggest a visit. The shop is in the old Galena bank and they still have the vault door, which is really cool. The staff are super nice and the food and drinks are delicious. I got a 16 oz. iced mocha, a bacon egg and cheese sandwich on an English muffin and a lemon muffin. Best way to start a Saturday - will definitely be back soon!

Such a great little coffee shop in a smaller community. Such friendly staff that was eager to answer any of our questions. Love the seasonal drinks, I got a pumpkin marshmallow latte that was tasty!! Cute atmosphere downstairs and outside on the patio for gathering. Highly recommend if you’re in the area!

Everything I could want in a coffee shop! The espresso is top-notch. The staff are friendly. CLEARLY, so much care and attention has gone into the decor and furniture. The bathroom is the cleanest I’ve ever seen at a coffee shop. Well done, Coffee Vault. Well-done.

Just got their special which was the “Lavender White Mocha”. Excellent coffee in the cutest town.

Really nice place! Coffee was good as well. The only downside is that seating is rather limited on busy weekends, as it's not a big place. There are a few outdoor seats as well. But beautiful ambience and very classy. Friendly and prompt service, too.

Stylish and unique destination for hot and cold coffee (and other) drinks as well as tasty noshes. Seating is available outdoors and down the winding staircase in the basement. The restroom was freshly cleaned which is always a plus!

The most unique coffee shop we have ever visited. It is situated in an old bank, you can order as you walk in on the right, or order on a computer on the left, there is an actual bank vault door to the back, a spiral staircase that takes you down stairs to a cozy seating area and even an outside seating area. The coffee and hot chocolate were very good, they also offer sandwiches and bagels. Give it a try for a new experience!

Come in for a Galena mocha and sit a spell near a cozy fire on a comfy couch. This quaint little coffee shop is the bomb and so are the scones. (And I rarely eat a scone. Not my bakery item of choice.)

Stumbled across this cafe while exploring a nearby park. What a gem!!! Wonderful cafe inside an old 1800s bank -- way more character than your average mermaid-branded spot ;) Also prices and all food/beverage were stellar and reasonably priced. Highly recommend!!!

This charming coffee shop is in a renovated bank right near the town square. There seemed to be an army of young women working behind the counter. I ordered the Kokomo latte, one of the seasonal specials. It was delicious! Make sure you add the whip and macadamia nut dust on top--that was the best part. There are a couple of bar stools at a counter inside but otherwise all the searing is outside. This is unfortunately not an accessible shop as there are steeps steps and a narrow entrance--but with that army, I'm sure you could call to order and someone would bring your coffee out to you! If I'm in the area again, I'll be back.

Wonderful place for coffee and light breakfast options. It's actually and old bank so they have done really amazing things with the architecture. There is a door to the basement area that is wheelchair accessible, but only stairs to the main floor. When you walk in it looks small but there is a large table inside the vault and plenty of space downstairs.

Really good coffee drinks and the seasonal specials were delicious. They have dairy-free milk options and the oat milk they have available is also gluten free.

The staff is amazing. I love to ask them to create a drink for me. Never ever had a bad experience at this business. It's worth the drive.

Best breakfast sandwiches in the area! The bacon they use kicks other bacon down the spiral stairs. The food comes out fast for how busy they are and the building is very interesting and clean. Don’t sleep on the smoothies either!

Update- everything else still good…chicken salad bad! Lots of mayo, lots of celery where is the chicken? Grapes? Flavor?

Best coffee spot! Friendly people taking your order, and they look relaxed and happy to be there. You order on the street level and seating is downstairs along with 3 tables outside. Tasty breakfast sandwiches and a few bakery items. It can get crowded at times, a line during a rush, but it's worth the wait.

Such a cute modern refreshed place in a unique location, we enjoyed coffee, a smoothie and a breakfast sandwich as well as a bagel. Loved this little shop and look forward to going back soon! This is the small town coffee shop that I always look for!

Parking in front and across the street for an easy walk to the Vault. Bike path along state road 3, then along the Hoover Scenic Trail, and finally a short ride along Old 3C to Galena from the south.
We shared a cinnamon roll and blueberry muffin along with our two cups of coffee.
Light fare for lunches too.

Great coffee place with good staff. Drinks and food were made perfect, service and atmosphere is awesome. Not expensive.

Our first time there, the batista was amazing. I asked for a iced coffee that they had back in February and she put one together that was just like it!!!

My husband has come here a few times when he’s out riding his motorcycle and needs a break. He says the inside is really cool and insists on taking me here someday.
