Beans Coffee Shop & Bistro

Great little spot! It's the perfect place to meet up with some old friends or simply get a morning coffee. And, of course, the coffee is great too! Been here three times now and everything from the frappes to sandwiches are good.

Beans Coffee in Chardon is a nice spot for coffee enthusiasts. I've been to a huge number of places in Northeast Ohio and this did not disappoint, although I would like better seating options (picky me).

The coffee was a 4.5/5.

Fun coffee shop in downtown Chardon their brioche toasts were amazing. It was quite busy so service was a little behind but everyone worked as quickly as they could!

My very first time going there and I'm going back! I got 2 of the mini cakes and a medium peppermint mocha...omg!! The cakes were moist and delicious and the drink was silky smooth and very tasty! Not too sweet..just the right amount of sweetness! Better then Starbucks and I love Starbucks!! Beans you have made my day! Custom service was very fast and friendly as well!! Will be returning for sure!!

Unlike so many modern coffee shops, Beans is spacious with plenty of seating while still offering a cozy, at-home feel. The tables were filled with people who are clearly regulars, all starting their day with coffee and breakfast.
I ordered a latte and "John's Oatmeal" and sat at a handsomely crafted wooden bar along the window. If I hadn't had further plans, I think I would have spent the whole day there. Definitely will be back.

Beans is an awesome spot for coffee and breakfast food and sits right on Chardon square. I love that they have a nice rotation of "specials," for both food and coffee. As soon as you walk in, the pleasant smell of coffee and food greets you. Plenty of seating (but not so much to take away from the "intimacy" factor of the place) and courteous staff round out the experience.

Second time going there and I got a muffin and the Blueberry hibiscus tea! AMAZING! Great taste and service was fast and friendly! Love the fact that they make the drinks as you order them so they taste so fresh! Will be definitely going back!

Stopped in for a tea this morning. Was surprised by the nice place. Cozy and comfy atmosphere and very friendly staff.

Had a cup of green tea and sat at a table for a while. Noticed the tall bookcases with books. Will have to come back and linger while reading!

Didn't get any food this time but the bagels, pastries, and breakfast food looked and smelled good. Nice selection.

Even though it was a cool 20F,the interior of the shop was warm. A nice place to pass a cold NEO morning.

Great food, great coffee, and great staff! The owner is pretty cool too. Hours of operation ALWAYS clearly marked. 5 stars

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this place. I'm from Mentor and I will drive the 15-20 minutes to have breakfast here. The vibe is FANTASTIC. Cute, rustic, chill, and artsy atmosphere. The oatmeal is SUPERB. The various toast dishes are great as well. My dad says he likes the breakfast sandwiches. They are very fresh and not artificial like fast food ones. I have gotten several varying pastries here and they have all been great!! The tea is good too. The employees are nice (especially the one lady that is always working the shop). Best oatmeal ever!!

Another trip to Chardon this week brought us to Beans. Full disclosure, have been before but only now doing a review because well, they deserve it.

Absolutely love this shop, the coffee is always great (and served in mugs! Seriously) and the food is diverse (gluten-free options) and tasty. Today we had a breakfast bagel and a wrap, also shared a chocolate loaf. Everything was awesome.
Day Four of this year’s tour and we enjoyed the vibe inside today, it was busy and all kinds of cool interactions were taking place. We will definitely be back.

This place is great. I was staying in Chardon with a friend. It's a pleasant walk from the house to Beans. There is a good selection of coffee, and breakfast foods, and pastries. Once a year I visit Chardon, and last year and this year , I had breakfast in Beans three times each.

I gave four stars for atmosphere because it can be very loud when it's busy. There is nothing to dampen the sound. My friend who wears hearing aids found that part quite bothersome. I didn't like it much either, but I usually go to Beans early and noise is not an issue.
Prices are reasonable.

Beans coffee shop and bistro is a breath of fresh air. Nestled in the heart of downtown Chardon, Ohio, this funky cool and quaint coffee Cafe offers easy breezy dining and great views of Chardon Square.

We enjoyed bagel sandwiches, lattes, and cappuccino. All of which were delicious. The ambiance and experience felt like "home." We were greeted and treated like regulars and the customer service was as good as the food. Whenever my wife and I are near Chardon Square for a local event, we always stop by and enjoy Beans Coffee Shop and Bistro. Cheers!

I go here for breakfast, brunch, or lunch a few times a week. They have great sandwiches and breakfast items in addition to their coffee. The espresso drinks, and brewed coffee are all very good. The food and service are excellent as well. It has a great small town coffee shop vibe. It’s on the pricey side but nothing egregious and you really do get what you pay for.

A wide variety of coffee, breakfast, and lunch items to choose from, with healthy options available. I really enjoy the frappes, but the hot drink are delicious too.

Lovely place. I had tea and waldorf salad wrap at my surprise 50th birthday party here. Food and tea were wonderful and they set up several tables to accommodate the lovely party!

Comfortable atmosphere, excellent friendly service and fine coffee.

Beans is apparently open until 3:00pm during the week, this summer. This extra hour will be in place until September 1st.

The food at Beans Coffee Shop is very good and their coffee is excellent! Wonderful service, a really nice coffee shop vibe, and a great location in downtown Chardon make Beans Coffee Shop our go-to café when we are in the Chardon area.

Highly, highly recommended.

Friendly atmosphere, wonderful soup. I highly recommend the tomato basil soup.
