Giant Eagle Supermarket

I prefer the Chardon GE because it is more like Traditional Super Markets. Lots of choices traditional and new. Staff is top notch. The Displays are creative and retro in nature.

First time here went with the oldlady which I don't do very much but got me outta chores for Abit, nice store clean and the people that work there are very friendly and helpful the deli counter was impeccable very clean and lots of choices as was the meats section and produce for not going shopping very often not bad at all maybe I'll go with next time to get outta them chores again highly recommend it

I have been to several Giant Eagles since I have been in Ohio and this one is hands down the best one and will be my go-to grocery store while I am here. The store is remarkably clean with a huge fresh fruit and vegetable section. They have Sushi and a few other eatery's, deli, and a bakery with lots of fresh bread selections. The Wine and Beer section has a great variety of spirits to choose from and there is a State Liquor Store as well. The meat counter had many cuts of fresh meat and the packaged meat and was well organized. I found everything on my list with ease. I just can't say enough about this store. Good job folks!

It has a great selection of beers and a liquor store ( our nation has a variety of weird Baptist/Taliban rules for selling alcohol).

Awesome hot food, meat section, and selection of wine! Visiting from Tennessee I was very impressed it looks better then it did 5 years ago when I lived there!

Always enjoy going to this giant eagle. Managers are always friendly and helpful. Staff never judges me when I empty all my coins and change into the self checkout register, lol. Plus, I love that they have the plastic bag recycling bin outside. Appreciate their efforts to help the environment by recycling plastic bags and also providing paper bag as a plastic bag alternative.

Nice selection of fresh, canned, boxed and frozen food as well as quality make up, vitamins and pharmacy needs. The cashier Abby was very polite and sweet, she even loaded up my shopping cart as I was paying. Made sure to give me my reciepts. The fact that she loaded my cart for me was just one less thing for me to tackle and made my shopping with two toddlers one thing easier. Thank you Abby for being so kind-( even toward the end of a long day!)

Amid all of the Covid madness and the fallout thereafter, I want to point out one leader that has been far and away one of the most diligent, hard working, talented front end specialist that I have ever seen in all my 54 years. Ralph at the front end is terrific at what he does. I have been in several times over the past few months and every time Mr. Ralph is assisting with the help desk, corralling carts, or fixing my mistakes at the self checkout 😅

He is truly one of a kind. Ralph, I thank you for your kindness to my family tonight and every time we shop. Especially in all the madness the world heaped on you after the pandemic. You deserve more support up there and it’s shameful that common folk don’t work anymore! Your hard work does not go unnoticed and I’m glad that in the current state of the world that there are a friendly, helpful, decent young men keeping us upright. Thank you again

Great place to go to get all your groceries and so much less crowded in Walmart in their parking lot is nice

This is my local store and get all of my groceries here. Store is clean, plenty of carts, well lit and reasonable hours. I don't do discount food.

Been shopping here for years and my opinion remains the same.

2022 - Big Bird is doing the best they can to keep a stock of items. Seeing the rolling changes shows the effort they are going to.

2023 Still my store. Only thing that bugs is when something I like isn't a big seller and gets dropped. I understand the business behind it, but still want my goodies.

We have been using the curbside pickup for the last few months and we love it. It is so convenient to pick out what you need on the website or the app, choose when to pick it up, and not have to go inside the store at all. It's handy when you know you are in a time crunch too.

Now that we've been back to shopping inside, it's been great. There is always someone inside sanitizing the carts. The staff is always friendly and helpful.

Kristen, a Curbside associate is a queen and I love seeing her every week. She's so thoughtful, a lot of fun, and I'm jealous of her skincare routine. She makes visiting an experience I look forward to.

Brooke, a Curbside associate, is a super star and has a hysterical personality. Vicky and Nicholas are fantastic and go above and beyond. Janet is 100% saccharin; she's so kind and sweet.

Very clean and well stocked. Only complaint I have are those that are in the front handling buggies. There was an elderly woman having a hard time separating the carts about 2hrs ago while a heavy set gentlemen w/yellow vest stood there and watched her struggling. I seen that my daughter was having a problem also. I took it upon myself to help the elderly woman, then went over to help my daughter. She told the man that how can you stand there and watch people struggle with those cars and not offer to help. Just stood there smiling. People like that shouldn't have a job in dealing with the front of the store. If they aren't willing to help customers. The elderly lady just turned, looked at the guy and shook her head in disbelief. Please talk to your cart handlers as well as any new hires.

Excellent store. Clean, always stocked. Prices a bit high on some items.

They have everything you need! I have never walked in and not found what I want!
I would like to commend cashier Roberta, she sets an example that all cashiers should look to. She politely asks customers to wait before loading their purchases on conveyor, wipes down the key pad for the next customer to use. She knows how to properly bag your groceries. Does her best to hand you the receipt at a safe distance.
When I go to check out I look for her to check me out. I feel safer because of the care she takes to get customers out.
She should get a bonus for her job efforts!

Abigail, who is fairly new, was excellent. I am profoundly deaf. She spoke very clearly and looked right at me when speaking. Everything went smoothly. She will be a great employee.

One of the best giant eagles I've been to. Great staff, really clean. Good deli and prepared foods section. Just beware if shopping late at night, seem to always end up with the slowest person working the register . 🙃

I'm in between 2 giant eagles but a I tend to go to this location because it's not usually as crowded and it's well stocked. The staff here is the best part they're always friendly and helpful and the curb side pick up team especially has been helpful during the pandemic.

Enjoying second shift employee's fun loving attitudes. Seem to really like there jobs. Night manager, Sam (I think), always attentive to all my needs. Will definitely return.

I use the curbside options and the staff who work that are amazing. I love not having to go into the store to do the shopping, especially with the little ones in tow. I end up with too many impulse buys (sometimes unbeknownst to me with those cute little hands tossing things in the cart) and waiting in lines to check out. This curbside option allows me to drive up to the curb, have a friendly face to pack the food and then drive off. Brooke is definitely the best one there! She is kind, thoughtful, and really knows her stuff.
