A tiny slice of a restaurant in a nondescript strip mall. Food was delicious. The carbonara was smoky and deep without being heavy. The tortellini with walnut cream sauce had me at the first bite. A visit will not disappoint. Call first to reserve. Service was excellent, warm, knowledgeable and definitely knew the menu.

Family owned, high quality, authentic Italian cuisine. La Campagna is the best. They have their staple menu items like eggplant parmigiana, my wife’s favorite, they also have unique entrees like beef tenderloin, pork ribeye, or Veal with truffle cream sauce and truffle pasta, which I had today along with local fresh fried zucchini blossoms with parmigiana and marinara. No processed foods here. All this and their fine wine selection make this a special place.

Carmella and Mike are fabulous Italian cooks! What a tasty, flavorful dinner. We will definitely visit again. Pricing was fair for what you get. Our server was attentive. We even had the pleasure of visiting with Carmella after she cooked our meal, she’s a great lady!

I absolutely love the food here. A family restaurant with an excellent staff. Everything is cooked to order and farm fresh ingredients. Will definitely come back again absolutely delicious with a great wine selection.

This place is a little hidden gem in Westlake. Literal mom & pop joint with a daily rotating menu and a decent wine selection. Everything is made from scratch, and with a few exceptions (e.g. cake) is made right when you order it. They were even kind enough to bubble wrap the bottle of wine I purchased for my flight home!

I highly recommend taking a bit of time to come give them a try. Stores like this are a dying breed, and I want to be able to come back here again on my next trip to the area.

Love, love, love this restaurant! It's a hidden gem for sure. My boss introduced me by taking our team out to dinner at this lovely family owned restaurant a few years ago. Everything I have ever ordered here was a delectable treat for a foodie like me!

What an absolutely unassuming hidden gem of a restaurant! Very small, family owned, and authentic Italian food at its finest! If you like seafood, I highly recommend the mussels as an appetizer, the buttery herb sauce they are swimming in is amazing and highly compatible with bread! 😊 Just make sure you call ahead and make reservations, there’s no walk ins here!

Relaxed “home with the family” atmosphere. Food was fabulous and I don’t even like pasta! But here it was amazing. Limoncello basil cocktail was too good! We had 7 people and our meal took some time but was definitely worth the wait

This was the best restaurant I’ve ever eaten at. Our party of 4 shared all of our meals and each one was phenomenal. We had eggplant parm, tile fish, pasta carbonara, beef ravioli with walnut cream sauce, and lamb chops. It was all made with the freshest ingredients possible by a chef who’s talent is out of this world. Their menu constantly changes based off of what ingredients she has and what they decide to cook that day. I can hardly wait to go back again to experience a whole new set of entrees that I know will be great. This isn’t a place to get in and out quickly, food this good takes time, and it’s so worth it. On top of all the great food the family staff (4 of them) are great friendly people who make you feel like part of their family.

Carmella makes the best sauces, her pasta salad are seasoned perfectly with olive oil and herbs. Hey homemade dressing are the best... They are not sweet like store bought.... I could go on and on... Real good Italian home cooking! Order and pick up.... Just save some for me on the day I order!

The chef and owner is awesome in her attention to detail and creativity. She works her magic from a scratch kitchen , everything is fresh and wonderous.

Wine selection is very nice.

Menu goes beyond traditional favorites in a authentic manner.

If you don't see something on the menu board that intrigues your taste buds, simply ask by saying 'please ' and if it can be done it will delight you.

We enjoyed the conversation with the owner/chef and staff after dinner as much as we enjoyed the great food

This place is amazing. Feels like you're in an Italian grandmother's living room. Nothing here is ever rushed. You can have your table the entire night. There is a great wine selection that is fairly priced. Carmella is a doll, and Keylee is the best waitress. Thanks for always showing us a great time.

AMM, As a frequent diner at this restaurant I will state that it is on the website to make reservations. It is very distressing that you in this day and age leave such a review. It is requested you make a reservation. Yes, the restaurant is small. Don't like the decor`. We regulars love it. As we are now into almost 2 yrs of COVID restrictions a little compassion to the hard working small businesses isn't too much to ask. LaCampagna has to follow Federal guidlines. They cook everything to order. They don't book tables by the hour. Or ask guest to leave so they can turn the table. Staff is limited. EVERYONE in the food service industry is aware of that. I have dined at this restaurant for over 25 yrs. Carmella is my go to caterer for family functions. The passion and drive she has for her patrons is second to none. DO YOU have any IDEA what it takes in todays world to keep the doors open and a staff employed? You leave a review like that? When it is right there on the website. For her vast following that love Carm and her staff we will continue to make it our favorite restaurant and be forever thankful for her dedication to serving amazing food. Shame on you AMM.

What an experience in fine dining Italian style! I’m old school Italian and have eaten in some of this country's finest Italian restaurants on both coasts. The food here is nothing short of superb. To make the experience here even better is the welcoming attitude of the family that owns and operates this gem! To make a good thing even better it’s literally in my neighborhood! Plan on returning real soon.

This restaurant is wonderful. On Saturday night they had a 3 person band called 3Sheetstothewind to entertain us during our 2.5 hour meal. Just authentic pure European meal experience. I had Eggplant Parmesan which has to be the best I have ever eaten. My husband had Pork Ribeye in a port wine sauce that was out of this world. What a relaxing experience!!

Slow eating experience in the best way possible. If your looking for fast food or quick service go to another place. This is relaxed, slow, an event to savor. The restaurant is tiny, eclectic and full of love. The menu changes daily with only a few standards available all the time (eggplant Parmesan and linguine with clams I'm told ) and the rest based on what's at the market. And what's at the market last night was fantastic. A short rib so tender it fell apart by looking at it cross over a bed of pasta and a rich tomato sauce. Or tenderloin marsala with crispy potatoes that snapped when you bit into them. It.was a fantastic experience. It's neither cheap nor quick but worth every second and every dollar.

We learned about this place after it was featured in Cooks Country magazine. We've been wanting to visit for quite some time and boy was it worth the wait. We used the occasion to celebrate Valentine's day 2021.

First off, reservations only. We arrived on time and were greeted and seated immediately. The place has a casual, peaceful vibe.
Certaintly not stuffy or prentitous. We immediately felt at ease and at home. (I very much appreciated the floor heater nearby on this cold winter night). Expect to pay $25-$30 per entree. Half that for appetizers. Most entrees come with soup or salad and potato or pasta.

We were told their liquor license only allowed for about 2oz wine glasses so our waiter said it would be much cheaper to buy a bottle. The waiter keeps the bottle up front and refills your glass as needed. At the end of the meal he seals up the bottle for you to take home.

My wife ordered the eggplant parmesan and I the beef tenderloin medallions. The latter came with brussel sprouts and I chose the boiled potatoes as my side. My wife choose pasta with red sauce as her side which she raved about. I could make some minor quibbles about the food here and there but overall the quality and love put into the food is something you just don't get in a typical restaurant. It's really more like getting invited to a private meal prepared by your friend the foodie.

For dessert we split a piece of almond cheesecake - obviously homemade, creamy and delicious.

Combine the relaxed, peaceful atmosphere with a homemade gourmet meal and the result was an absolutely delightful evening. Thank you. We'll be back.
