American Battery is the only place I will ever go too for all of my battery needs. All of my friends and family are believers now as well. Getting my car battery changed is the easiest part to fix on my whole car.
If you can get your car to the shop then you can leave the battery in your car. You just pull up tell them you need a battery and they may have a few choices of warranty length and therefore price. You get out of the car to go sign the paperwork and by the time you finish your car is finished! Hurray! They do everything for you - ZERO HASSLE.
Also, if the battery goes out before the warranty is up then they will prorate the amount left towards your next battery! They obviously stand by their batteries and their work.

I had to replace the very weak battery that came w/ the used SUV I just bought from a small private dealer, and thankfully my friends in my rural Valley Center neighborhood all led me to drop by the American Battery Center - where they quickly diagnosed the weak battery issue (while reassuring me that my alternator and other under hood components are working perfectly), got in one of their patented strong American Eagle brand batteries (brand new) inside my SUV w/ a very secure battery holder pin inside, all for a very affordable price I just smoothly put on one of my rewards-earning credit cards! I am in need of a replacement battery for our older Camry and it reminded me...I never made a review for the last time we used American Battery. They are so nice and efficient, they'll get you in and out with a great quality battery. I took my Tundra in after it ditched me near my daughter's school. They gave me a battery replacement that was stronger than the one I had, they said that older battery didn't have the real strength to turn the truck on longterm. It's been about two years and their battery is still going strong! Prior to this battery, every other one provided by Toyota ditched me within two years. This is a great company! I will see them soon!!

These guys are awesome. They tested my RV batteries, set me up with a better system and installed it all on the spot. They answered some questions about solar controllers and even did some research. Mike, Jose and Jason were very friendly and helpful. Another gentleman there also helped look some stuff up but I dont know his name. They even helped me back my RV out onto the street. I've been buying batteries here for years and it's high time I give them this review. Highly recommend this store. Btw. Most battery suppliers in North County SD get their batteries here so you're likely to pay more elsewhere.

outstanding service. People are friendly. Needed some custom battery cables made for very large battery banks. They didn't skip a beat . had them built in a couple hours and ready for pick-up. If I need anything battery related in the future i will make this my first stop...

What an awesome experience. I did my research and found a battery that was perfect for my car. I called ahead of time and asked if the product was in stock. Amazingly, it was the last one left. I arrived a little bit later and was greeted at the doorway. The same nice gentleman that answered the phone (Julio) not only greeted me but got the battery for me quickly and had one of the technicians install it for me. He installed the battery free of charge. The technician was very cautious and did a great job on the installation. I would highly recommend them to others for their hospitality and service! Car battery issues always strike at the most inconvenient times. When they do, it's either place a call to AAA and wait or jump to start and go get a new battery. At American Battery, you can get both a Jump Battery to have with your car and when that moment hits, jump to get started and when you can head over to American Battery and they will quickly diagnose the issue and advise and replace the battery. In the 8 years, I've had the pleasure of replacing batteries in each vehicle, and the visit to AB has been quick and efficient as compared to the dealer or other shops. I don't think the process took longer than 15 minutes in and back out on the road.

It was a easy, more affordable then I had feared it might be. The crew was exceptionally kind and helpful. QUICK and COMPETENT. Service.fear turned to secured auto battery starting EVERYTIME.

This is our go-to place for batteries! They have always been a fraction of the cost of any of the other auto stores nearby which is helpful when you have multiple cars! The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable and we have never had a problem with anything being out of stock. Highly recommend

Been going there since the 70's, good service, prices and will get you out of there fast, their good guys the only place I will go.

Great long time family owned business. Very friendly and courteous staff. If you have a battery problem they will check your charging system and install a new battery if you need it. As far as I know it's the only place in North County that make battery cables for you while you wait. They are very good quality at a fair price for what you get. I have shopped here for many years and never have had a bad experience.
