Taproot Catering

Used Taproot for my daughter's first birthday party. They were able to meet me at my budget for 15 people. Plenty of food that was all high quality. Planning and paying was easy. Would use Taproot again.

We hired Taproot for a corporate event with about 100 guests and we were extremely happy with the service! Pre-event planning with Civonna was very smooth - I told her our requirements/restrictions and she built an excellent menu for us. The food was presented well and delicious! Small touches like eco-friendly cutlery were also appreciated, great attention to detail.

They will be at the top of our list for future events!

We used Taproot Catering for our 230 person Wedding Reception. They helped us plan, prepare, and feed all of our guests with professionalism and talent. Many guests have complimented the food at our wedding, specifically the taste, variety, and display. Michael and his team were helpful, thoughtful, and just nice people. We had a WONDERFUL Dinner of the White Fish, fresh vegetables, homemade mashed potatoes and a beautiful salad, with Strawberries added! We also ordered the Corn beef, Cabbage, Vegetables, and a fresh salad! I haven’t had such an enjoyable meal, like this, in years! We will be going back very soon! It’s located in the same building as Bent Tree Coffee, on N. Water St., in Kent! Their door, is on the side of the building! Do yourself a favor, and look their weekly menu up, and place your order on line!! You will not be sorry! Thank you!!

I just recently had a wedding for my daughter and was blown away by the quality of the food and service. We recieved tons of compliments stating this was the best food they ever had at a wedding. The lemon chicken, bracciole, pasta bar, and tiramisu were amazing. Also, interaction with the owner was both personal and a breeze. The staff was very attentive. The only reason I gave 5 stars is because Google won't register more!

Had family visitors from NYC. We had not been together for nearly 2 years and also were commemorating a wedding anniversary. Did not want to spend entire day cooking or go to a restaurant. A friend had recommended Taproot Catering. Michael was very accommodating. He prepared our meal on a Sunday and was flexible & helpful regarding the menu. Our meal included a salad (greens from farmers market & vinaigrette), steak & salmon (both prepared perfectly & with side sauces), grilled vegetables, fingerling potatoes, and the best strawberry shortcake we’ve ever had. Quality, quantity, & fair price exceeded expectations . I highly recommend Taproot, will order their weekly meals and think of them first when needing catering services.

Taproot catered our office holiday party and did a wonderful job! The butternut squash gnocchi were a great option for vegetarians, and you should ask for the chocolate mint pots de crème- our entire group agreed they were insanely good! I'm from out of town, otherwise I'd book them for my next event.

We got married at the Grand Barn at the Mohicans and sampled many catering options around northeastern and central Ohio; Taproot was by far the most unique and delicious of the bunch and the most complimented component of our wedding. To begin the process, Michael sent us a survey asking about our favorite foods, dietary restrictions, etc. in order to build our sample menu—a really unique and fun process that we loved! As an out-of-state couple getting married in Ohio, Michael gave us a tasting and completely knocked it out of the park. Michael was absolutely amazing at taking all of our unique requests and favorite dishes and bringing them to life. Not only that, he designed a totally custom mini-dessert sampling menu based on the places we have lived AND thrilled our guests with an amazing late-night taco bar. Our guests raved about how delicious the food was and the Taproot team was incredibly professional and great to work with. Not only that, we had multiple guests comment on how delicious, plentiful, and aesthetically pleasing the cocktail hour hors d’oeurvres were. Our wedding was perfect and Taproot Catering played a huge, huge role in that!

We got married at White Birch Barn in Medina. Michael made it amazing! We had people absolutely raving about the food. It was so great! His servers were kind and quick to get everyone served. I am so happy we hired Taproot Catering!

My family and I just ate their Holiday meal for 4. So delicious! I really can't express how amazing every dish tasted. Highly recommended! I would order their food every day if I could. Plus, the price was reasonable and the service was efficient and friendly. Thanks Taproot for helping my family have a festive holiday!

3 days in a row now I’ve gotten your muffins and scones from Scribbles and each day they are MAGICAL!!!! I can’t stop eating them!! By far the best pumpkin muffins that I have ever had! Bravo!!!!!!!!!

Ordered holiday pies for Thanksgiving and they were baked to perfection! Highly recommend.
