I can’t say enough great things about Superior Floors. We had used their services about 20 years ago and had decided to hire them again to refinish our existing floors, replace carpets with new flooring and re-carpet the stairs. Cheryl the owner, David, Freddie and the rest of the staff were not only professional from start to finish, but went above and beyond on the job. My husband and I were extremely pleased with the results. We will be hiring them again in the upcoming year for additional work. Highly recommended.

NEW!!! We had just worked with Superior Floors on installing our hardwood flooring and loved the result. So, we chose to once again work with them for our two bathroom remodels. From the initial design and materials to the recommended contractor/suppliers, we were more than pleased. The end result far exceeded our expectations and will be working with Superior Floors on our future projects.

Superior Floors did the flooring of my entire house back in 2009 (carpet in bedrooms and hardwood throughout the rest of the house). They were so good I went back to them recently after I had a house leak that ruined some of my gorgeously installed wood floor. Well, they are still as amazing in 2023! The customer service is excellent and, perhaps most importantly, the installers they have are still top notch professionals. The wood is properly installed with care, they take the time to do it well, and I love that they respect my home by being really, really neat. My recent job is a relatively small job, but David, Cheryl, and Henry still treated me like a valuable customer. Superior Floors is a well run small business that is a gift to the San Diego community. Hire them if you can because you will be dealing with good people with a lot of warmth. (Lastly, my repair is a relatively small job only because I have extra wood left from the install back in 2009. I remember that Superior Floors had advised me to buy a little more for just this reason. So, get a little more if you can and have a place to store it).

10/10 EXPERIENCE! Sheryl was so helpful in finding the exact color and quality carpet we were dreaming of. The entire team was patient and helpful as we went back and forth trying to decide. David was amazing, friendly, and so hands on! The team installing our carpet did a beautiful job and even worked extra hours to make sure they finished in time.

Superior helped select the carpet throughout my house and did the install some 8 years ago. I was very happy with their service and prices. The carpet has held up incredibly well. Last year, we decided to install hardwood in the the kitchen and dining room. I shopped everywhere high and low and kept coming back to Superior. We ordered custom-cut, custom-finished, custom-dyed hardwood flooring for little more than places in Miramar were charging for stock flooring. The installation was the best aspect of the entire renovation. Superior's installer was AMAZING - brilliantly laid out the flooring to conserve enough extra panels to do a bathroom and pantry. EXCELLENT service. EXCELLENT selection. The owner is very knowledgeable - save yourself the money on a designer and just ask him. He knows what's trending and what is classic. The junior member of the team needs some polishing (charm school) but if you deal with the owner and his installer, you will not be sorry and you will not beat their prices when you calculate in the cost of the tear-out, haul and install and baseboards. Make sure you include all those "others" when you compare prices!!!!!!!!

We had Superior Floors put in new flooring and carpet at our house a couple weeks ago. Henry and Mark did an excellent job on the floor as did Abel and his crew with the carpet.We had Tarkett Rock Maple luxury vinyl planks put in, it looks just like wood but without the hassle. Ed helped us pick out the carpet and flooring and was very patient, kind and personable. Our house is funky and has weird angles nothing is perfectly square because my grandfather along with my father and uncle(who were teenagers at the time) built the house from scratch in the 50's. We never could have put this type of flooring in by ourselves. The carpet is so plush and we opted for the 10lb pad. The carpet is from DixieHome;Hollywood style. I feel both installers were very professional and took their time to do the best possible job they could do. We are very pleased so far. Thank u Superior Floors

I cannot recommend Superior Floor Designs more highly! The selection is phenomenal. The assistance in the showroom is friendly, caring and thoroughly professional. Customer service after the order is placed continues through installation and beyond. I could not have made a better choice--I've been disappointed with others in the past.

We had a special situation where we are remodeling a house remotely (in Utah) and needed to look at some carpet in person. Even though Cheryl knew we wouldn't be purchasing through her she was very attentive and took her time in explaining carpet selection to us and helped us narrow down what we liked. So very thankful for her help!

We have had Superior Floor Designs put in flooring for us 2002 and 2013. They put in beautiful hardwood floors, marble tile, carpeting and ceramic tile in most of our 3,000 sq. ft. remodeled home and did excellent work. Later, in 2013 they put in high quality berber carpet and tile in another home. We have been very happy with their products and craftsmanship.

Tamela is the Cabinet Expert with over 30 years experience and she creates the most beautiful dream kitchens for her customers and does not miss a detail! Kitchens are a very complicated specialty and the design piece requires the utmost attention to detail (down to the 1/16 inch!). She incorporates functionality and beauty in every kitchen and takes the time to understand your unique needs and desires (I had many!). After all these years, I now have my dream kitchen and Tamela made it happen. She went more than the extra mile for me and I will be forever grateful. You just can't get any better cabinets from anyone and the most critical element is the person you hire. Tamela has the utmost of integrity and is the only one I would hire and trust to create the most important room in my home! Feel free to ask her to contact me as a reference.

As I started researching options to replace my existing wood floors, I realized there is a lot of conflicting information on the internet. My friend's floors were installed about 10 years ago and they look fabulous today. (Her home is the center for five children, their spouses, 12 grandchildren, grand dogs and other family members and friends. It gets a lot of use!) Shd told me she used Superior Floors. I called and spoke to John, the owner, and asked numerous questions. He answered all in great detail, with the utmost kindness.

Drivng home from a year in Seattle, I stopped in Encinitas, looking beddraggled and worn out. From the moment I walked in, I was treated with courtesy, patience and professionalism, despite my appearance. I explained to Scott (John's son) that my small home sees a lot of traffic. He expaliined there were many options and recommended a particular brand of hardwood flooring that has proven to stand up to traffic and use. It was beautiful.

I went back several times before making a final decision. John and Scott were both incredibly paitent with me and never pressured me to make a decision or to even make a purchase.

My home now has the most beautiful hardwood flooring downstairs and new carpet upstairs. The installastion was extremely well coordianted and the installers left my home immaculate.

I am SO VERY HAPPY with Superior Floors. I willl always use them for any flooring needs. They have more choices than any place in San Diego. Superior Floors exceeded every expectation!
