I didn't have to wait forever to see the doctor. When he came in he explained things thoroughly but was fairly quick and was happy to answer any questions I had. Dr Kay is pleasant and professional.

Dr. Kay is kind, calm, patient and most of all knowledgeable. He did an excellent job on my right foot. He listens to the patient and provides easy to understand answers. I highly recommend him to any person who might be experiencing foot problems. He came highly recommended to me and I am so glad that I followed through. I waited a long time for this surgery to correct my big toe bunion and the difference is amazing!

I saw Dr. Kay for my follow-up appt on 12/29/23. I am so grateful that my chiropractor, Dr. Robert Ault, referred me to Dr. Kay. Dr. Kay is so kind and caring. He is patient and explains the patient’s specific medical situation clearly and in plain

Dr. Kay does a great job describing the injury, course of treatment and prognosis. He is very communicative and easy to talk to. He has handled my torn achilles and foot related matters diligently and professionally.

I had 3 prior unsuccessful foot surgeries by different doctors. I was extremely impressed with Dr. Kay's knowledge, explanations & expectations. I had to cancel my Jan surgery due to conflicting knee surgery. I was disappointed that he currently does not have operation privileges for an unknown period.

Dr Kay was thorough, professional and courteous as well as friendly. An easy doctor to converse with, he is completely in command in his specialty.

After being disappointed with the Cleveland Clinic Dr Kay saw me almost immediately for the pain due to arthritis that settled in my previously broken left ankle, He immediately informed that the ankle brace recommended by the Cleveland Clinic Doctor was doing more harm than good so it is no longer used. Unlike the Cleveland Clinic Crystal Clinic Doctors and Staff really cares about the Patient!

Absolutely THE best foot and ankle ortho around! I met Dr. David Kay about 35 years ago when he diagnosed my broken sesamoid BEFORE an X-ray, and then proved his diagnosis to me with a “special” X-ray. After walking on broken bones, Dr. Kay did in 5 minutes what no other orthopedic doctors could do over the previous 10 months. After an accident involving my foot in 2017, I came back to him again as there is no other doctor I would even consider. He is a kind and compassionate doctor with, believe it or not, a dry sense of humor! He is a 10/10.

Guy is straight and to the point. I've seen a lot of negative reviews about his bedside manner, I think he is awesome. No guess work as to what happens after surgery. You know the whole program going into it, and I think that's important. No surprises. Definitely a top notch Doc.

Dr Kay is an excellent surgeon who does not want to cut unless it is necessary. He has worked with me to avoid surgery while protecting my lifestyle.

Reviewed last visit and compared that X-ray with the one taken at this visit. Progression of arthritis and movement of tendons. Ordered a MRI and fitted for ankle brace. Will follow up after results of MRI.

Dr Kay was friendly and explained my situation well. Dr Kay's nurse, Robyn, did an excellent job removing staples and stitches that were due to come out.

After reading some of the negative reviews; about Dr Kay. I was nervous going to see him my first visit. Dr Kay was pleasant. He took the time to listen to my concerns,and made sure I understood what he was saying. The office staff was nice as well. My appointment (including xrays )from start to finish lasted less than an hour. I would definitely recommend Dr. Kay!

Such a great surgeon! He answers all your questions and really cares about your well being . He did a fusion on my left toe in 2020 and now will be doing one on the right toe in a couple weeks .
