Dr. Wynne and I met in the middle of Dec. 2017, after being on pain meds for over (14) yrs., I was wanting to get off of opioid meds totally, but to also find something to also treat my pain from two failed anterior cervical fusions, neuropathy, neck arthritis etc...

We discussed two avenues of treatment. One was to gradually reduce the amount of pain meds I was on, while investigating and doing, other options (Possible injections, Lyrica, etc). The other choice was suboxen treatment. I refused suboxen treatment due to the stigma I've understood about that as another form of addiction. There was a mix up on communicating information that day, after I left, however, I called within the week with the information. The holiday schedule (my pain med (of 14+ yr) was due on 1st, she was to have written my RX prior to her vacation, but due to miscommunication previously stated, she wasn't back until the 2nd. The one day of withdrawal was not such an issue, as I was rationing what I had, awaiting her call.

However, when she finally returned my urgent call on the 2nd, (at almost 6pm) and I was desperately needing my RX, she proceeded to tell me that she had now determined that I should be referred to suboxen treatment!!!

She has put me in withdrawal and in total pain without a care to what she is doing. I have been in full withdrawal, heart racing, sweating, everything, as it is impossible to get into any suboxen treatment immediately, let alone with me being an engineer and having just started a new job! When am I able to call, let alone get in???

This should be illegal for them to play with a person's health like this! I'm in massive pain, having slept in my cervical collar, in my recliner at night, WHILE suffering thru withdrawal! No wonder people are dying of heroin abuse for God's sake if this Dr. is what is causing it!

Very similar experience with Dr Wynne. Would NEVER recommend her! How can she be an Orthopedic surgeon? She was a Pain Management specialist but apparently didn’t succeed at that. (“If at first you don’t succeed……..”).
