Best #TacoTuesday in Escondido! Great deal. All Tacos are yummy but my fave is Chicharon Taco. Its a bomb. I did tried the Carne Asada fries too. An overwhelming line up of customers so be sure to be patient. Its a ll worth it.

Wow! Best Mexican street tacos ever! We got adobada (pork) and carne asada (beef). Their aguafrescas (fresh fruit juices) are amazing. Don't miss this restaurant if you're in Escondido.

Amazing authentic Mexican Food! 1st time here and will be my go to place from now on. To order go inside and line up by fresh water cashier toll oder by where s the menu. To pick up your tacos go on the outside, fries and other items they will call your name. Fresh waters are the bomb. Tried Tamarind and Jamaica. Very fresh and original. The QuesaTacos are a nice size. 2 did it for me.

Great Mexican spot! The food is really good and the portions are a very good amount.

The selection of Aguas Frescas is great and they have seating inside and outside along with warmers so late-night tacos will be comfortable.

I had such a great experience at the escondido location. I had to follow them on IG - turns out they opened a new location in Vista-so much closer to home for me. Stopped by for dinner on their grand opening day. Oh the food! So good, huge portions. And the Aguas Frescas were absolutely yummy 😋

Man this place is legit. We always get the burrito to go and tacos with (soy con papa) and a Jamaica. It’s a great place for people who don’t eat meat to go to! They have a Taco Tuesday special and the guys who prepare the food are awesome! Always tip them 👏🏼 AND the guacamole is real guacamole unlike other places lol

Yeeeeesssssss!!! It was super crowded on Taco Tuesday but when we saw the presentation and smelled the beautiful smell of asada coming off the grill, we had to try. I grew up visiting TJ for street tacos and to this date had never seen and asada taco make to match. Now I have! This was an incredible visit. Sooo good. Brought me back to what a real taco should taste like. Slathered with avocado and wrapped in double shells. Will definitely be adding Fridas to our regular spots while visiting.

Good tacos de birria and carne asada. A little steep at $3.50/each but very generous with meat, onion, and cilantro, along with guacamole for the carne asada. The salsas were fresh with a decent spice and the sliced cucumbers were a nice touch in the salsa bar. Order inside and take receipt to the guys grilling under the large tent. Aguas frescas are always great too and fresh.

Fridas Street Tacos is one of my favorites! Usually I frequent the Escondido location, but I was around town and decided to stop with my wife. This new location is awesome. Great for date night. Food is fresh and tasty. We ordered two asada tacos, one birria quesataco, and adobada torta. We devoured everything, including the onions and chile fixing. I highly recommend the tacos. Price was affordable.

This building for years was a underwhelming Berto's style Mexican food place. Well I'm not sure who Frida is, but she bought the place and turned it into something amazing. The fare is pretty simple, but what they've got going on here is magical. The tacos and burritos are off the charts!! I've had the birria, carne asada, and pollo asada tacos. They were outstanding! When I look into the kitchen everybody is busy making mountains of fresh food for the evening rush. Outdoors they have a taco bar, where the tacos are made right in front of you. Would you like some peppers? Some grilled onions? They add a giant pile of them to the the plate. The peppers and onions are almost a meal until themselves! The cilantro, the guacamole, the sauces - all fresh!! Andthe tortillas are cooked right in front of you. Simply amazing! It doesn't look like much, but once you find a place to park and get in you will be amazed. They have an outdoor seating area too, though even at slow times it may be tough to find an open table. And for good reason!
Tuesdays the discount day, because of course it is Taco Tuesday!

Finally got around to eating at this place after so many recommendations and I was not disappointed! The food was absolutely fantastic and the aguas frescas were delicious and not too sweet. We ordered our tacos and were then directed outside to have them made right in front of us. The salsa bar was fully stocked with tasty salsas, veggies, and limes. Great atmosphere, staff and food. Would highly recommend!

I really didn't expect them to be so good (tacos) lots of meat for a taco Tuesday at $1.99 each. I was really surprised with the whole process of ordering, paying and picking up my tacos. Hefty size portions of everything. The line was extremely long on both ends but moved very quickly. You order through the front, pay get drinks if any, get your ticket and move to the line in the back where you get your tacos.

Frida's Street Tacos are deliciously authentic, with real ingredients, freshly cooked. The music fits the atmosphere, and is at a reasonable volume. There is enough seating inside and out. They offer aguas frescas and a salsa bar, with a roll of paper towels at every table, because they know good food doesn't have to be neat.
I have only been there once or twice, but it instantly became a place I'll suggest when taco night comes up. I don't recall their Taco Tuesday deals, if any. It sounded (the sizzling)and smelled so good, I knew I'd be eating there anyway.
I'll be back, with a hungry stomach and authentic flavor on my mind!

The hardest part was choosing which flavor of Agua Fresca to get! I went with passionfruit/mango and have no regrets, it was SO GOOD!! I had chicken tacos and my friend had the steak tacos. Delicious, super fresh, and the salsas were perfect!

Amazing taco and burrito shop in Escondido. Food was delicious and fresh. My burrito was extremely flavorful with fresh squeezed juices and a large salsa bar.

Randomly found this place on google, and the reviews led me here. This was all the authentic deliciousness I was looking for! Great indoor outdoor atmosphere. The watermelon juice… OMG… was worth the visit alone.
