We had the pleasure of working with the Jim Geracie team for our first home purchase. We were very impressed with the professionalism, communication, and overall support and guidance of every member of the team. They always made sure we felt comfortable and understood every step of the process. But our biggest pleasure was working with Colin! From the very beginning, he wanted to make sure he understood what we were looking for in the home buying process and he stuck to that. With also being in the middle of planning a wedding, Colin said he wanted to take as much weight off our shoulders and make the process as stress free as possible and he did just that! He was patient with all our questions and was always quick to respond, no matter what time of day it was. We truly felt like we were the only ones he was working with! He is extremely knowledgeable and was able to offer some great insights as we were looking at houses. He also helped us learn different ways to structure an offer and negotiated a great deal for us on our first home. We cannot recommend Colin enough. Colin and the whole team was great to work with. They helped us find our first home and dealt with a less than ideal transaction with a For Sale by Owner home. WOW! Jim and his team of professionals are AMAZING! We had to sell my brother's house FAST due to unplanned medical issues he had, which resulted in him being in assisted living at a young age. Jim and his team helped get the house on the market and sold VERY quickly so we had the money available to pay for the assisted living fees. THANK YOU! You SERIOUSLY kept my brother from homelessness. Your knowledge of the market is incredible, but also your network of various professionals who can "help with last minute details", such as getting the house emptied and cleaned, was INVALUABLE. We redirected our renovation efforts after talking to Jim. Jim gave us great references for contractors so we could keep the cost down while making our deadlines. But the real magic happened when Jill and her team staged the house. There were no more signs of boys growing up in the house, she turned the house into a show home,and we have pictures to prove it! When Mom decided to move into an independent living facility, we had to get some quick help selling her home of 23 years in Wauwatosa. Friends recommended someone they knew who handled home sales as a side line, but we did some on-line research and found that we had better go to someone who sells homes every day, and lots of them. We quickly found that Jim Geracie and his wonderful Realty Executives team of home selling experts met this criteria, and after one meeting with Jim, we knew that Jim was the right guy to get the job done fast and right. Jim's wife Jill helped us prep and stage the house, found movers to rearrange furniture, and even provided color coordinated table settings for the kitchen table. We set a realistic asking price, got the house ready for showing in 2 weeks, and offered Sat/Sun/Mon showings with a Tuesday deadline for offers. Pretty gutsy move, I thought, but Jim assured us this was the way to stir up action on the sale. We had 3 solid offers by Tuesday and the best was $20,000 over asking price. Jim made sure the offers and counter-offers were all favorable for us, and protected our interests, leading to a solid final accepted offer. Haley, their talented closer, guided us through the inspections, required work to meet buyer demands, all the closing paperwork, and was with us at the closing just 30 days later. Mom's house is sold to a happy buyer, Mom is moved into her new home, and the family is very thankful for a smooth a quick sale.

The initial meeting was informative and understanding, and helped up price our home at a level that was reasonable but maximized our price. They encouraged us to get to the market at the right time, and did a wonderful job advising us on preparation and staging of the house. Haley (our transaction coordinator) was also outstanding and she helped make the inspection and house closing a seamless process. She always took time to call us and walk us through our amendments and she thoroughly answered all our questions. She was instrumental in making everything stress-free and she helped us close in 30 days, in time for the holidays.
