Grape Day Park

Great park right across the street from the children's museum. Awesome park with unique features! It doesn't have a kitty playground but it's still a great environment to have all the kids. There's also a train museum or an old train cart for the kids to explore pretty cool and also a giant water Fountain. The graffiti wall is really cool nice and peaceful place to have a picnic or something.

Nice big park. Nice fountain area. Love the Pullman car. There are many areas dedicated to veterans of all wars.

The park features the kid’s favorite grapevine climbing structure with hidden secrets for your little ones to find while climbing, a giant grape slide slide decorated with beautiful with mosaic tiles, benches throughout the playground in the shape of grape leaves and a a separate playground structure that features huge slides and swings. The play equipment is for children of all ages and ADA accessible.

After playing on the playground, be sure to take a stroll around the parks landmarks. The landmarks has a working barn, Santa Fe Railroad depot with the train still in tact, tractor, blacksmith shop, historic buildings, museums, large historic tree trunk and many other interesting monuments.

We haven’t visited this park since before Covid and everything is still beautifully in tact! We visited during the early morning hours and it was not too busy.

This park used to have a lot of homeless people but it seems to have greatly improved over time. Its large and spacious and quiet, a very nice place to walk.

Veterans day ceremony and events honoring Veterans in attendance. Congress member issa gave award to veteran in attendance. Other awards done. High school students did song proud to be an American in sign language. Guest speakers gave stories. Great attendance.

Pretty cool park. I didn't know how much was here til I decided to walk it while waiting to meet a friend for Crusin' Grand. There is a replica train station, old blacksmith shop, library and more. Pretty cool park

Park is big, clean and had lots of trees. On this day, it was peaceful & fun.

So many fun activities every friday nights for summer time free for kids plus live DJ n music band next to arts theater. From 4 to 9 I believe every Friday nights. Always a fun good time here with my kiddo♡

The park was great for the kids, kids didn't want to leave the playground. The live bands for the 4th event that I attended was amazing. The super hero's that showed up added to the excitement of the event. The park is beautiful very green lots of trees

Beautiful place for the family I love the country touch to it. There's a old school train and shops. Kids can play on the playground, pet friendly easy access, easy parking and the restrooms are right next to the playground.

Great park for the kids and a great place to take a walk.

Plenty of open spaces as well as shaded spots. It's a well-maintained park. The playground and structures are closed off currently but the grassy areas are still open as long as you practice social distancing.

Kids loved this park and didn't want to leave so much to do

Fun historic park. Lots of parking. Great place to take the kids. Playground and a cool train. Love the surroundings with city hall and the arts center with in walking distance.

I was there earl Sunday, rode the rail trail😎. Very fun, a bit chilly

My kid loves this park. I recommend going when the park museum is open. It was really cool to see some of Escondido history. And the train car has a model train inside that's a really cool for the kids to see. Also convenient that the SD Children's museum is across the street.

Great place to do some studies, play games, and just over all relax! Love coming here to play spikeball with my buddies! Grass is well maintained, and there's never too many people!
