Macray's Seafood

We absolutely love Macray's. The food is always fresh and delicious, the servers are friendly and helpful, and the owners are very personable. We celebrated at Macray's when we found out we were expecting a son this fall and several people stopped by to ask about it and shared stories. We've been back numerous times since!

We highly recommend the clam cakes, calamari, baked cod, and any dessert on offering. I've also had the Del's Vodka Lemonade many times and it's a delight. Although they specialize in seafood, we also loved their steak dishes. See photos.

Macray's Seafood located at 115 Stafford Rd in Tiverton Rhode Island is our go to restaurant. We probably eat there once a week, sometimes more. The prices are fair, and the food is delicious. We have never had a bad meal here. They have a full bar and the drinks are made awesome. They have weekly specials which are always good. On Cinco De Mayo they had Mexican fusion choices. On Saint Patrick’s Day they had Corned Beef and Cabbage on the menu. The front of the house staff is great. They have live steel drum music every Thursday which is always a pleasure. Recently they have had the smoker out a few times and made some delicious barbeque ribs, baked beans, and coleslaw. Even though they specialize in seafood they make great steak and hamburgers – my grandfather is what you would consider a hamburger connoisseur and he has given them his stamp of approval. I highly recommend giving Macray's Seafood a chance.

My husband and I tried Macray's today for dinner and we were pleasantly surprised. We both had the baked scallops (8 large sea scallops) that came with crispy green beans and roasted potatoes. The food was delicious! The waitress was excellent, turning on the outside propane heaters as we enjoyed sitting outside listening to Caribbean music. We definitely recommend Macray's!!!

My husband and I finally stopped by Macray’s for dinner and what a delightful treat it was! He loved his generous portion of fish and chips. We both thought the crab and corn chowder was absolutely delicious. I wanted to buy a gallon to bring home! And I loved my shrimp scampi - pictured - light and perfect! Both ladies serving us were very friendly and gracious to boot! We look forward to going back again soon!

We went for a quick lunch, got 2 bacon cheeseburgers. Great service , very fast, they were absolutely delicious 😋😋 Will be back for sure *****

Got the fish n chips and clam cakes. Both excellent. Tropical atmosphere in New England.

I got the fried whole belly clam plate. So many clams! So delicious! Super friendly staff. Efficient service.

The lobster is super tender and not over cooked at all with almost no mayo - it's pure lobster. The buns are perfectly buttery and toasted.
I love the little fish nuggets too. Their clam cakes and New England style Chowder are done just right and they're crispy on the outside!
We sat outside but they do have an inside dining room and they have liquor and a full bar.
With all the fried food though, you'll want to get an extra side of coleslaw.

I love everything about McCray's!!! I read other reviews but I could not relate to "any of them." I was just there last week and ordered $100.00 worth of food, everything was delicious 😋 I do agree with the one review! Those Devil Dog Mud Slides "ARE THE 💣 BOMB!" You really can actually taste the liquor! My only complaint is: "I wish you were open EVERY DAY of the week ALL YEAR LONG! Kudos to you and your staff!! I'll see you next season! 🥰👍💯

As good as Patio Dining gets, if you're not overlooking the Ocean! The Food! Oh the Food! I had the baked Cod, prepared in a wine and butter sauce, that was cooked to perfection!
We also had the Shrimp Scampi. Perfect! Fried Scallops and Clams were the best! The wait staff was easy on the eyes, and had the right combination of friendly and professional.

Our first time there and I must say everything was fabulous, the atmosphere, the music, the food and our wonderful waitress Tara! Thank you soo much for a wonderful service.

Another fantastic meal!!! The fish tacos and the stuffies were fantastic. I will be back very soon!!!!!!!!

Food was amazing. Fun environment. 4/5 for atmosphere because they need more accessibility to allow for wheelchair. The gravel is too thick and openings are narrow. That said the food, service, and environment made for a great lunch!

Just moved to town & was told this is a local favorite! Owners Mike & Meg gave my partner & I such a warm welcome to Tiverton. Really appreciate their hospitality & love for the community! Acts like this make such a difference when moving to a new city & I am so grateful to them. Thanks Mike & Meg!

Had their Fisherman’s Platter to sample a little of everything & just WOW. Serving size is massive! 2 of us shared it & we still had leftovers! The clams were amazing & the scallops were perfectly tender. Delish! The clam cakes were a new dish to me & I really enjoyed those as well! Paired this with a Del’s watermelon lemonade & it was such a nice, refreshing treat.

I can see why the locals told us to stop in here. This will be a regular in our dining out rotation for sure!

We made an appointment for 14 people and were accommodated above and beyond. Our hostess and the owner was so nice to all of us all. They made surewe all sat as close together as possible in a small setting. Our waitress was spot on and so attentive.All 14 of us loved our food ,none of us have a negative thing to say !! You will not be disappointed!

They disguised the parking lot as an outdoor dining area: potted trees, canopys, music... well done!!

The best whole belly clams, lightly battered, not greasy and so delicious!! Great spot, sat outside, was really a great time!! Everyone was so friendly, and I can't wait to go again!!

ALWAYS great fish & chips; light, crispy batter, nice fresh white fillet, not greasy, beautifully cooked. Generous portion always enough for my wife and me to share. Have been coming here for years and never disappointed. Great service. Have to laugh at negative reviews, because we KNOW good seafood, and Macray's is among the best. Bruce and Carol.
