Buckatabon Tavern & Supper Club

Popped in for lunch and a spot of golf watching. Great experience from start to finish. Staff was attentive and friendly but not overbearing. The food genuinely surprised me. Very good indeed. The perch sandwich and dry aged burger were absolutely top notch. Above average beer selection. Relaxed atmosphere to boot. All in all, a lunch spot I'd highly recommend.

Hadn't been here since it was Cafe Bavaria, and the new concept is fantastic! As a native Wisconsonite, the restaurant feels like a trip back to your grandma's basement or a lounge up north after ice fishing. The cocktail menu is as extensive as a supper club, but much more updated and delicious! The food was familiar flavors with a twist, and having had the deviled eggs and the burrata beets and balsamic myself, I can't wait to be back!

Really great first visit at this place! First off— super cool location. The Tosa village is gorgeous and you get a great view if you’re near a window. I also really loved that it’s a 2 story restaurant— not sure why but those have always been super cool to me!
I went for brunch but hope to stop in for dinner for sure now. I was meeting a friend who I hadn’t seen in a while, RSVP’d online and made note that it was our first time and asked for a cool spot which they were excited to do! Their brunch menu has a great variety of options. I have a gluten allergy, and they had a whole separate menu and the server was knowledgeable (came back to confirm something would be ok for me). The burrata was SO fresh and delicious. My friend and I were blown away by how yummy it was. Pictured with the burrata is my Rhubarb mimosa and my friend got a Bellini. My entree I got the dry aged burger and it was soooo yummy. My steak fries were seasoned and cooked perfectly. Whole experience was very pleasant and I can’t wait to come back!!

First time here and we’ll surely be back. Appetizers were delicious, we ordered the French onion dip and Brussels. Ended up splitting the Buffalo chicken sandwich which was nice and crispy. Service was 10/10. All around a great experience. Amazing drink menu too!

Prime Rib was excellent! Yorkshire Pudding was a first for me and I really enjoyed it. I loved the Brat and Cheese soup started as well! And the "shot" of Mint Chip is Trash was the perfect mini ice cream treat. And the Bourbon Old Fashioned Sweet was a great as well, made with Buffalo Trace. There's also igloos and Northwoods Shanty's you can dine in as well in the cold months.

Outstanding supper club. Excellent food, solid service. Everything we ordered was delicious. I would definitely return.

Coming to Buckatabon Supper Club was truly an experience. I've been to most of the locations that inspired this restaurant and can easily say "well done" to the execution of a supper club in the heart of Tosa. The menu is a delight in itself that will fill you with fun memories. The food was good, although the cheese curds were just ok. I wish that we took more pics! There are even ice shanties to rent for $100 that are large enough to seat 8 people. This includes two drinks packages! I will definitely be back and bring a large group of friends to do that. We were able to meet the manager, Chester, and the General Manager, Tyler. Both were so much fun and their passion for excellent service really made this restaurant a fun experience. Come for a first date, an anniversary or bring a group. The Buckatabon is perfect for all.

First time trying their haddock fish fry. Highly recommend. One of the best fish fries I've ever had!

We are on Saturday at about 6:30 When we arrived we were told an hour in a half wait. I recommend a reservation but we were able to make one due to an travel uncertainty. The line moved fast and we were sat well before the time they estimated. The hostess staff worked really hard to fit everyone in.

The food and ambiance were well worth the wait. The prime rib was amazing and in my top list of restaurants. We ate later in the evening and food was still served at perfection. I loved everything and was pleased with the unique and savory seasoning. The bread was also really good. Crunchy on the outside and pillowy in the inside. If we come back I want to try the Appetizer- French onion dip.

The old-fashioned was perfectly paired and the flavors expertly complimented each other. Flavor was smooth and the perfect addition.

Parking was a bit tough but we were able to park for free and walk a few blocks. Everything was worth the walk.

Supper clubs are amazing and this place had great food and drinks. Fish fry is great. Go walleye! Gets busy so maybe grab a reservation.

Loved everything about this place. The staff was funny and kind. The food was so good, honestly some of the best ribs and prime rib I've ever had . I had a teddy bear mule and it came in a honey teddy bear. It was so cute. The devil eggs were different, not bad but not my thing. Overall definitely coming here again.

We had an amazing dining experience last night celebrating my aunt’s 100th birthday. There were 6 of us including the birthday girl. We loved the ambiance of the Buckatabon. All of our entrees and cocktails were delicious but what made the evening so remarkable was our server Morgan. She was so excited and honored to be part of our celebration! When one of the restaurant patrons unknown to us paid our entire check she was as surprised and happy as we were. What an attentive, incredible young woman. She’s truly an asset to your restaurant.

Travis, the bartender, made our visit exceptional.
His personality is perfect for bartending.
Also, get the Deviled Eggs, they’re absolutely delightful.

Stopped for a drink and appetizer! Can't wait to go back. Bar tender was great, pretzel was amazing and the Frostys Lament was delicious. A great drink for a winter night.

This was my first time eating here. With Cece's recommendation, my friend and I tried the nachos. They were phenomenal! For a food that could be so creatively made, most restaurants hardly put in the energy, but Buckatabon Tavern served! I am really here to talk about Cece. She was such a fun server, down-to-earth, on top of her game. I never had to ask for a refill, she was on it and went above and beyond by getting me a pitcher for my soda since I was downing it to control the spice from the nachos. She also served us the most simple, but delicious sundae- more than enough to fulfill the sweet tooth! As a bartender and server myself, I am absolutely impressed and know who to look for the next time I stop in! Treat her well, Buckatabon!

Outstanding place to eat and spend time with family. Started with Bloody and some deviled eggs. Both are outstanding and the eggs have an amazing salty crunch. We ordered two new dishes. The Chicken Schnitty was cooked perfectly and paired well with the BLT potato salad and beans. I had the Bone in Jerk Pork chops which were amazing and the corn pepper relish has a surprising heat that brings the entire dish to life. Service was great and the atmosphere was casual and chill. Bring yourself or the whole family for an outstanding experience all around!

In town on business and came to this place. Laid back atmosphere where we had a booth that had old-fashioned suede. I had the Teddy Bear mule that was delivered in a honey bear bottle. Chicken Schnitty that were delicious. Waitress helped us wrap quarters and around a dollar to throw and stick to the ceiling. Awesome food, awesome service and awesome atmosphere. Thanks Felecity for making our night.

First off, Morgan S. was an amazing server. She was super friendly, responsive, and fun! Our appetizer, cheese curds, were superb. We had the best meal ever - ribs and the broccolini bomber. We love Buckatabon and visit often and have never been disappointed!

Great little place. Food portions are huge. Gluten, dairy, and peanut free options. Service is great, a large group may take time so plan ahead with reservations

We dined outside last night with some friends at the Buckatabon Tavern. It started with a relish tray of various pickled veggies, dip, and a pretzel with cheese spread. Then they brought out wedge salad with three different dressings before we had had even ordered our food. I got the cowboy burger and everyone else got the haddock or perch fish fry. We had some really nice cocktails with our dinner too. Service was great, and the ambiance was nice. The interior is cozy.

I have since revisited many times and always loved the food. This is such a fun place that reminds me of getaways up north, while also serving excellent food. We have always had wonderful service too. (Over one year after first review)
