I can’t wait to go back for the ice cream, toffee, fairy food etc. Everything is So delicious. I’ve been coming here for 65 years and my parents and grandparents all lived in tosa. When I was little and had 50 cents in my pocket I’d get a piece of anything it would buy. Love this place. My mom would buy the cream filled eggs for Easter and one year our Irish setter ate them all. Great memories.

Wonderful local chocolate, ice cream and local Wauwatosa flavor. We had Niemann’s chocolates in the welcome bags for our daughter’s wedding. They were so helpful!

Just met Jim Niemann at the boat races in Sheboygan WI. Can’t wait to enjoy his candy when we get to Wauwatosa! Looks amazing! Hope you enjoyed Sheboygan. Come again!

Stumbled upon this little candy shop while out for coffee and what surprise. There were so many treats to choose from but we ultimately got some pints of the homemade ice cream. It was delicious! Can't wait to come back, everything looked great!

Holy cow (pun intended)…they have such delicious ice cream. My goodness. And the waffle cone, might’ve been the best waffle cone I’ve ever had. It was scrumptious. The staff was very friendly also. I can’t wait to back again and try some of their truffles…after I get more ice cream. Highly recommend this place

I've loved this place since I was a little girl! You enter the store and think you've gone back in time! Small, quaint store that has looked the same since I was young! BEST chocolates in the area, especially their fairy food (during cooler months), toffee and chocolate marshmallow ice cream. When I was 14 yo I was convinced the chocolate marshmallow ice cream cured my mono! 🤣

We had the best experience here last night. I don’t think enough people in Wauwatosa know about it. Fantastic ice cream and chocolates. We had malted milk balls. The best part was this young woman Grace that helped us! She was incredible. Great service and so kind to our little kiddos. We'll definitely be back! Everyone should go here!

Loved it. Went for their toffee and was not disappointed. You can't go wrong with a scoop of their homemade ice cream. I had chocolate marshmallow - delicious.

Great family owned candy shop! Everything smells so wonderful every time we visit. Once each year we ship Niemann's Candies to Madison for a special gift and all 10 people always rave about how delicious these candies are too! We are lucky to have such a wonderful shop within walking distance of our home.

Niemann's candies are celebrating their 100 anniversary and have been featured in the news, I headed out to get some Valentine's day chocolates for my wife. Not able to find roadside parking ,I went behind the shop and parked at the spacious lot and walked up to the shop.

The staff included the granddaughter of the founder and everyone was patient while I went around eyeing the delicious chocolates.. Finally decided to get the 30 pieces Valentine's day box with selected truffles. They are reasonably priced and the lady gave me a small bar of their signature almond butter toffee. I broke a bit and tasted it.. it was delicious! Certainly a place to visit in Milwaukee..

This candy shop is not like any other that our family can find. It's a bit of a throwback, the kind of place that was probably more common a few decades ago. The folks there are really friendly. They make great candy, some of which you can get nowhere else like big, hard candy snakes and dark chocolate malted milk balls. There's quite a range: truffles, nuts, seasonal offerings that change from year to year, homemade gummy bears. It's a nice extra detail that, as a sign on the wall explains, many of the molds the team uses for the milk chocolate rabbits in the Easter season date from the 1800s and have been used since this family-owned shop opened in 1931. We highly recommend Niemann's!

I come here a lot over the summer, about twice a week, and each time, the staff is always very friendly to me. Their candy selection is cheap and unique, and their ice cream is to die for. Seriously, their chocolate marshmallow is the BEST. I would recommend 100% of the time over the other ice cream places in the village (Yo Mama, Baskin Robbins) because their ice cream is much better, it’s homeade, it’s super cheap, and the worker usually gives more than what you bought (if you buy a single scoop, you’ll end up with about 2 scoops). All in all, Niemanns is the number one choice for dessert in the village, and my personal favorite ice cream place of all time.

I actually saw this place on Fox 6 and I wanted to try their whipped eggs. They're a little pricey but really good. The staff is great! Very friendly and extremely helpful.

They do their own home made marshmallow flavor in their ice cream. So delicious. Some of the best ice cream I've ever had. Also, a phenomenal waffle cone.

The gold standard for Easter candy. Excellent chocolate, creamy whipped cream eggs, and superb fresh jelly beans. Expensive compared to drug store candy, but quality vs. quantity is the key. It's so satisfying it's worth the splurge.

Homemade chocolates, homemade candy... What's not to love about Niemann's?!?
They're famous for their chocolat covered almond toffee but I'm totally addicted to the honey nougats. But there isn't a bad chocolate in the house!!

Oh, and the staff are knowledgeable, helpful and friendly!

Best place for homemade candy and ice cream! Old fashioned and great service! Our favorites are the dark chocolate fairy food, maple creams and almond bark....worth a visit!

Skip Godiva and go right to Niemann’s. A client brought a box in to work on Valentines, as a kind ‘thank you’, and we were all immediately hooked.

While the store isn’t flashy, the fact that the use the original molds from the owners’ grandparents is pretty cool.
