Cute little Mexican restaurant with good food. I love that they let you pay it forward by buying a hot meal for others in need.

What a gem! I was looking for a breakfast spot, and we stopped at a coffee house first. Afterwards we walked to this place, and we were so glad we did! Food was AMAZING and the atmosphere was super hometown feel with genuine friendliness. Small place with just a few tables, but pretty sure we were the only non locals there. Love finding and supporting small local businesses like this 💕 I ate the breakfast burrito, but without it in the tortilla to make it gluten free. So yum.

On my way to albuquerque this place was an excellent stop for an early breakfast burrito. The burrito was only 10-$11 and the lady working the front was extremely nice.

This place is small, although it's a great place to eat. Jerry and Maria are the best!

Bacon, sausage and ham. I have them put their salsa inside my burrito. I, ask for 2 sunny side up eggs. It's smothered with Christmas. This is the best. they should call it "RAMON SPECIAL"

Food is excellent and reasonably priced. Quick, friendly service. Refried beans are how they should be. Actual beans instead of a puree.

I love this place. In inside is painted and walled with wood and gosh they are sure nice!

We absolutely adore this restaurant. Cozy, family-owned, and delicious. Maria is amazingly friendly and welcoming. The food is remarkable. We loved the breakfast burritos and everything else we ate! You must stop here when you're in Gallup. If not, you're missing out on a one of a kind experience. Maria makes the red and green chile every single morning before they open and you can taste the love in this wonderful food. I'd give it a million stars if I could.

5 stars isn’t enough for this little piece of southwest heaven. We stopped here coming from the east coast traveling to the Grand Canyon and the experience was perfection. The food was hot and delicious, service was quick and exceptional. We ordered three breakfast burritos between the two of us and couldn’t even finish them all. We will be visiting Maria’s Restaurant every chance we get to come out west. 10/10 recommend and will go again.

Great place, simple but full of care, flavor and friendliness. The red and green chili and chorizo were more flavorful than I've had anywhere. Had them with the breakfast burrito and it was delicious. Its obvious the owners really care about what they do and their patrons

Someone in a review said they had a great breakfast burrito, so I had to try it out. I'm more of a dry burrito kind of person, but it was yummy. Had an orange juice with free refills. Excellent service and even gave me more beverage for the road! Too kind of them

We always try to eat at Maria’s on our way through from Illinois to AZ. It is our favorite authentic Mexican restaurant!!! The green chili and beans keep us coming back, but we love everything we have eaten here. Maria is so sweet and the staff is very friendly as well. And we love the local atmosphere.

Food was delicious and affordable!

First time here! Friendly people! One can have American or Mexican food. My husband had a hamburger & fries; I had fish & fries. They were very good. Plan to go back.

This restaurant has been around for as long as I can remember, always get the breakfast burritos with red and green chili. They can also sell you just their chili itself if you'd like. It's a fair price, and personally better then other restaurants because their hospitality is spot on, just saying.

To start, it is not Italian. The food was great and the staff were excellent. Great local place for Mexican food. The menu shows Italian. We were looking forward to maria's lasagna, stayed for the excellent enchiladas and tamales. Loved the beans.

Maria's has the largest breakfast burritos I've ever seen or, had. I keep coming back for more! The customer service is great as well. So go on down and try it for your self you won't be sorry.

Cheap, delicious food. I was in need of food in Gallup and glad I chose this place. The chorizo breakfast burrito Christmas style was perfect. If I lived in Gallup, this place would be a regular spot.
