A fun and unique shop, specializing in reptiles only. No fish or aquarium supplies. Limited stock, but staff members seem very knowledgeable, and I think that they can special order most anything you need if you ask.

Beyond being a retail shop, it's a SUPER fun place to visit generally, which adds a great deal to the community. I've been eyeing the bearded dragons for awhile- gonna get one soon 😀 . Always lots of kids making memories- really, the type of place that makes Grand Ave such a fun, funky, unique gem!

This place has everything you need for your reptile! It doesn't matter if you have a snake, turtle, lizard, or any other kind of reptile. The best part is most of the employees are extremely knowledgeable and can give you advice or information that is invaluable for caring for your pet. The place is well stocked, and if they don't have it they can usually order it. They also have lots of food for whatever animal you may be caring for, from live mice to crickets to worms, they have it all. Highly recommended!!

This place is so much better for reptile pet owners than the big box chain pet stores. At the competition I always feel like reptiles are an after thought where as here you KNOW they have what you need.

The customer service at this location blows the Oceanside location out of the water! I just went in to check out if they had false water Cobras and immediately the manager Jarred just started showing me snakes. I ended up buying this beautiful female false water cobra! These guys are very helpful. Check em out!

Best place for all things reptile. The staff at this particular store is knowledgeable and attentive. Been coming here for years.

if you're looking for a reptile, this is the place to go! They have so many different varieties and they are all very well kept. They had all the supplies I needed. And the staff was very friendly and helpful.
There was no other place in the county I could find to get an iguana, but LLL Reptile. I was happy to see how healthy he was and I'm very happy with my new pet.

Zoe and Carl are awesome. They were very knowledgable regarding the reptiles and proper care for snakes. I received a lot of great suggestions and ideas from them both. Also, I have been to some reptile stores in the past, where the lizards, snakes, etc, didn't seem well nourished and a little neglected; the aggressive disposition of the creatures I've seen elsewhere is a strong indication of a lack of attention and nourishment as well... Not at this place! The reptiles here mostly seemed lively, better disposition, and look very healthy and strong. Definitely seem to be well fed and a lot of human interaction. I love it! I strongly recommend this LLL location.

I love this store, I'm in here multiple times a week buying food for my reptile babies. The prices are competitive, the team is very kind and informative. My children love looking at all the pets 🦎🐢🐸🐍✨✨✨ edit 2-23-22 still as wonderful as ever!!

The employees are super nice and knowledgeable. We come in for crickets, but it's always a joy to see all the beautiful reptiles. The lizards are my personal favorite. If you need anything pertaining to reptiles, they've got it. 😊

I've been coming here for years. They're always friendly here and way cheaper then other stores.

I got my first baby ball python at LLL almost 2 months ago. The staff here are very friendly and informative. Since this is my first snake, I call LLL all the time and they are always happy to answer my questions. After a few weeks of having my ball python, I saw that he had mites so I called and LLL offered to treat him in a bath and gave me a hopper mouse free of charge! I was relieved and happy that they were able to treat him as I would not know how being a first time reptile owner. The store itself is very organized and well stocked. It can also get busy here! But it’s fun to walk around and see what critters they have. I also prefer the Escondido location over their mission valley location as it’s bigger.

Been going here for the last few years and I’ve been very happy with them. They provide feeder mice, and pretty much any other thing you need to setup and maintain a reptile enclosure. They also have a wide selection of reptiles to choose from and take the time to answer any questions you have about your companion.

Enjoy coming here. Their reptile,amphibians & arachnids are awesome.I normally just purchase food for skink and fat tail gecko. Recently, I came home with two baby mack snow leopard gecko cuties. They're a great addition to the zoo in my home!

LLL Escondido has great employees and a wide selection of reptiles. They have all the enclosures, lights, food, and everything else you need to set up your enclosures for your new buddy.

Nice clean store and animals are very well kept. I have 2 ball pythons and 2 leopard geckos, and this is the only place that I can find live rats for my snakes.
