Holiday Wine Cellar

You know... I fit a stereotype where I usually get watched and or not get good service in stores... But Holiday Wine Cellar's employees are always cordial, polite and very knowledgeable! I went there for stouts because I knew they'd have a selection unlike anywhere in North County! I was not wrong. I spent at least 30 minutes looking at the different options.
Left with a white chocolate dipped pretzel stout!!! If you're looking for anything out of the ordinary or anything special, go here man!!!!!!

Holiday Wine Cellar is great. They provide an extensive catalog of wine, beer, and spirits. Many rare and interesting finds. The wine socials on the first Wed of every month is a lot of fun. I highly recommend that you check that out. Lastly, the best part is the staff. They are very knowledgeable and friendly. They will bend over backwards to help you. It truly is a great find.

First time coming here and I must say WOW!!! I cannot believe the amount of options. Super friendly and helpful staff. I went in to purchase a bottle of whiskey as a gift and was not sure what to get. I was helped immediately and the lady was so helpful. Excellent customer service.

This is the coolest liquor store ever. This time they had a giant, fluffy, super sweet dog there, too. Grabbed some local wines.

Love HWC and the staff. The beer selection is epic. The staff are all friendly and knowledgeable. I'm in here at least once a week spending more than I probably should on beer. I'm not a liquor guy, but the liquor selection is extensive too. Plus its just a cool place inside. I've been to one tasting in the downstairs and it was a good time with good people.

Just was driving by, stopped inside and was greeted at the door. All three employees where nice and very helpful. Ended up buying a bottle of wine, and will be returning again

A very nice and elegant wine cellar is in the basement. Wonderful selection of many wines, expensive and adorable. Glad we found the 2 Towns cider we were seeking here before heading back to Phoenix.

Holiday Wine is a Southern California landmark. Located in Escondido, Holiday Wine has a huge selection of wines, beers and distilled beverages from all over the world. We have been shopping here since the early 90's. On this visit we wanted to pickup various beers to take up to our son in Oregon. Their selection is second to none. They even have a refrigerated beer cave. I also was in the market for a Tannat from Uruguay. They had one they recommended and I purchased 2 for a very reasonable price. If you are a wine fanatic like me you will enjoy visiting the downstairs wine cellar. They have a huge collection of hard to find wines as well as a tasting lounge. Give them your name and phone number at checkout and you will be rewarded with Cashback credits on your next purchase. It adds up quick and helps the pocketbook afford that nice wine or piece of booze you have been wanting to try. Holiday Wine is a Diamond in the Rough. It is worth the trip...

Plenty of unique options for the different varietals of wines. The upstairs has popular wine choices and plenty of great spirits choices, but the best aspect is the cellar, which has the high end wines at fair prices. A good mix of high end classics and new discovery wines, well worth the occasional visit.

I love this family owned business. I've been coming here for decades. They have the best service around. The best selection I've seen anywhere. If they don't have it, chances are it doesn't exist. Their greeter, Oscar the dog, is so cute, and well behaved, I almost forgot what I came in for. I'll definitely be back, I will buy something just for the excuse to pet Oscar again. He is absolutely adorable!

I've seen this place for years but live in the other end of town so never felt the need to drive all the way over. However I was looking for a specific Scottish Whisky, and none of the other local places had such a great variety. I was also impressed with the variety of everything in general. The staff are also really friendly and helpful. They know their stuff.

Was looking for a couple beers I couldn't find where I live. I stopped in here while I was road tripping through the area and they had exactly what I was looking for. The guy ( sorry, I can't remember his name) informed me that they ship all over the US. He gave me a business card and told me they'd be happy to send up anything I needed. The customer service and selection in this store are on an epic level. They were fun to chat with, knew their stuff and the dog that was walking around the store was awesome. I will definitely be buying shopping with these guys via the internet going forward.

WOW! I’ve been searching for a particular beer for years that I was able to finally get through Holiday Wine Cellar! Living on the east coast, I do not have the opportunity to get many of the wonderful east coast brews. This business was willing to ship me beer across the nation for a ridiculously good price since I bought a lot of them! I've been able to find a ton of my favorite Stone Brewing beers here I can't get anywhere in Oregon. Suuuuper grateful they are able to ship up to me!
